Articulation and timing of the head was excellent. A+ I wonder if you guys who switch away from the pick know that you lose a lot of volume? Do you really want some chords to be much louder than others ??
I am a guitarist and I want to offer you some advice. The notes and scales you use are correct and interesting, but you rush too quickly to attack the next note. It already happens in the head melody. Do you do up/down pick exercises? Well, here I modestly show you the advice. If you take two adjacent strings, D/G for example and attack D (up/down) twice and G (up) once and return to D (down/up) holding up/down as suits you when changing strings. By doing TRIPLETS (with metronome and making a continuous loop for several minutes) you will be able to match the strength, accent and quality of the attacks from the pick to the strings in a few weeks and maybe this will help you solve that little problem. 🙂 (Obviously the goal is equalised the measure (tempo) and the string sound no matter if you are picking up or down) I watched the video again and your ‘up pick’ is shorter (the attack to the string is weaker) than the ‘down pick’.
