If it weren't for all the legal hoops you have to jump through to make absolutely sure the Gov gets a cut of every single penny earned, you might hear it a lot more often. I take a ton of pride in employing people with $50/hr. jobs. But I do NOT love it. In fact the Gov just made it harder for my workers to earn by making Sunday pay 2X rather than the 1.5X I was already paying.
He runs a foundation where the entire function is public health. He knows a lot about public health. That has been his focus for twenty years. I could be an expert in more than one field if I set out to educate myself for all those years, and in fact have.
So what? How does that matter? He still had to create the software and figure out all that shit out himself. He still had to work tirelessly to make it all happen. His parents didn't do that for him. He meant. There are ppl who are millionaires and stay millionaires. Then ppl who are billionaires at 15-19 bc their parents pass them billions (Rockefeller’s/ royal families) Then there’s him (upper class) and he became a billionaire (without having to count anybody else’s money like his parents)

Thanks for clarifying. Recently a 25 yr old got the title of youngest self made billionaire so I already knew he's lying. Actually none of the "self made" billionaires they used to show us were self made. And the ones making it now don't really count considering when Bill Gates became a billionaire, 100 million or less of that billion would equal to a billion today.
Maybe he didn’t have to work as hard as some people, but doesn’t mean he didn’t work hard at all, being born with connections and some wealth doesn’t automatically make you a billionaire, becoming a billionaire is very hard to do

He's a son of bigtime execs (that's how he got started, mom and dad plugged him to their friends and colleagues), so he was never hurting for money. Growing up with money generally makes you not care about finances too much.
