Keeping Hamlin on the roster was a PR move,, Using him for a critical play , which was a dumb call anyway, is one of the dumbest moves I’ve ever seen. What did they want? A feel good story for Damar? The fumble through the end zone was a miracle that would have covered him if they would have won. Allen later lost then the game or a chance to win it: instead of checking it down to diggs on 3rd down on their last drive he threw to the end zone and didn’t get it, not even close. Then bass misses the fg. Even if the fleas made the game would have been tied and mahomes had plenty of time to go done and score an FG to win. If Allen would have thrown to diggs and he caught it, which he was wide open, it would have been a first down and they could have worked from there to get a TD or at least a shorter FG with taking most of the time off the clock. Allen lost the game on this dumb decision to go for the TD.

The man is a master at preparing for anything that can possibly happen during the game. He’s the best ever. No the game was lost with 2:42 left in the game, 1st and 10 from the Kansas City 27 yard line. If you're a smart coach you know one thing: whatever happens in this game... WE will be the last team to possess the ball. We CANNOT score a TD too early because Mahomes is going to have time to go down and answer. We definitely CANNOT settle for a fieldgoal because Mahomes is DEFINITELY going to have enough time to get into fieldgoal range and beat us anyway. No. NO MATTER WHAT we will be the last team to posses this ball in regulation. Even if we settle for a fg it will be with triple zeros at the end of the play. So how do you ensure that you're the last team to possess the ball?? Simple: ONE MORE FIRST (at least). No matter what happens in the next 4 plays you absolutely positively have to get a first down. Even if it takes 4 plays to get it. 4 plays. 4 of your very best guaranteed yardage gainers, with absolutely no chance of any incompletions or sacks. If it means running the ball 4 straight times gaining 2.5 yards per run then you fucken do that. Or a few runs and a few absolute gotta have em guaranteed catch and run plays... ya know.. the exact plays that had gotten you all the way down to the 27 in the first place? quick passes to the TE and shit like that? But no matter what you do NOT take a shot at the endzone before getting that first down. He had SO MANY chances to make a cut on ONE defender in an attempt to get way more yards and the little pansy would run out of bounds every time. Even on the last drive there was a play where he had only one defender and nothing else behind him.
