Billy Cobham’s Drum Solo at Zappanale 2023  

I got to see Billy Cobham in his early thirties. He was an amazing talent then, and at 79, he still has that fire.

Wow, Billy Cobham at 79 years old and still has that speed. Incredible. Just goes to show at his age it really doesn't matter how old you get as long as you love your passion and do great either way.

I've been listening to Mr Cobham since his Miles Davis, Mahavishnu Orchestra days [ he's about 9-10 years older than myself ], and he has been inspirational ,innovative..the things I think about drumming-wise but cannot execute, this guy does with ease. Great to see him still preforming, motivating us older folk to just "keep on moving and grooving ". Forget got to mention: I was there HAMMERSMITH ODEON 80's concert , Billy Cobham/ George Duke Band + a small gig at the BATH UNIVERSITY ,UK 90's . Peace,Love and Grace to all .

Mr. Cobham has been and will always be at the top of my favorite drummers list.

There are drummers, and then there is the olympian Billy Cobham, the only man to have defeated GODZILLA bare handed.
