kenny was brilliant. his radio shows were legendary. i used to tape his shows, cutting out the music and just keeping his bits in between. such a sad loss when he died of aids. all the laughs we have missed since. wish we could see all the other takes they had that we didnae see, jimmy. and where are the takes we didn't see??
We loved the fact that Kenny Everett would take the pure piss out of Mary Fucking Whitehouse. He was never meant to be long for this world when he was so outspoken against the BBC Traditions and Establishment. (An establishment that chose Jimmy Savile as their darling!)
