I can't claim to know everything about how to escape depression, but I can speak from some experience. I've found that focusing on helping others and making others feel better often makes You feel better as well. Another thing is to find something that you can spend time on to keep yourself occupied. Some examples are playing/practicing sports, weightlifting, or bodybuilding. These things give you something constant and consistent that you can always turn to when everything else gets tough/complicated. One last thing, find people to be by your side. Those people can be family or friends. And if you don't have friends, then go out and try to make some. Life isn't gonna get much better by you just sitting around waiting for your life to fix itself, take some action even if it takes you out of your comfort zone. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope that this helped you out :)
