This performance was done before I was born... and I still think Billy Joel is the best musician ever, right up there with Freddie Mercury. My generation's music is total crap. "Good music" today is defined by how well it goes with strobe lights and crack whores.

I have to disagree with you on that. I think he used to be gorgeous, especially in the '70s. He had his moments in the '80s and '90s. Now... no.

Wow... what you just said is totally irrelevant. "Only the good die young" means that being good is necessary for dying young. It does not mean that being good is sufficient for dying young. "Only the good die young" does not mean that, if you are good, you will die young. It means, if you die young, you must have been good. Since Billy Joel has not died young, it does not follow that, since Billy Joel is good, he disproved that only the good die young. Again... English comprehension fail.
