This song embodies how romance SHOULD take place. It shouldn't be about "love at first sight" and all of that nonsense, but truly getting to know someone until you realize that you really do like the person.

When God finally puts you with the right person always make sure that you let them and make them feel appreciated because they may have been with somebody else before someone gets with their true soulmate and when you are with your true soulmate let them know you love them we are all with the person God puts us with and we may think they're the right person but if they're not showing us that they love us nor we're showing them that we love them then we don't really care about them and that's not our true soulmate and when you are finally with your one true soulmate some people find their soulmate at the very beginning of the time and sometimes it may take years and people have had to go through things but when you finally get with them you will know and you will feel loved and will never have to question that

I remember hearing Tell Her about it by Billy Joel by the time I was a teenager through radio, I still enjoy listening to this song multiple years later because of the candid lyrics vocals and classic pop music melody although there a multiple number of billy joel songs that are also fantastic to listen to.

This is my all-time favourite song from Billy Joel, and it`s so fantastic throughout.

This is exactly how I felt about one of my friends I had feelings for. I went for it and told her, and she said she wasn't looking for a boyfriend at the time. Yet we're still really good friends. I'm glad we still are. I hear that's rare--to remain friends with someone you had (and still have, in my case...look, I can't control biology) feelings for.

I’ve got a cd taken from a cassette tape. A yellow tape that said Fischer Price on it. Mom and dad gave me a tape recorder when I turned 3, and the first 20 minutes of the tape was me trying like crazy to sing this song a cappella. Which I think would qualify this as my most favorite song of all time. Billy wrote the first tune I can remember ever latching onto.

Good news, combined this advice and some advice from a good friend and now said good friend and I are coming up on six months. Small milestone but makes me smile.

I thought years ago that I'd paid for online (or uploaded from CDs) all the individual Billy Joel songs I wanted to have in my iTunes library (mostly from his 70s albums, particularly The Stranger), but I overlooked this familiar song which--listening to it now, decades after it came out--I now think is worthy of inclusion...it's just a nice, upbeat song. 😊
