Billy Strings has been hailed as the future of bluegrass, transcending tradition and genre with his high velocity, flat-picking guitar technique and intense, confessional songwriting. I don't think people yet realize how groundbreaking his music really is. He can literally revolutionize Blue Grass music......not by playing from it's past, but by taking it to the future. It's one of those rare talents that can singlehandedly grow a genre by creating fans who didn't know they were fans.

I like this song a lot. When my daughter passed away I felt like slipping away and leaving home everyday. Lay on the floor or out in the grass just looking up and wondering why I stay. Depression is a killer but Billy Strings is a medication. Keep the great music coming

Watched Billy as a young man playing in Traverse City for a few years as he honed his craft with the likes of Don J. and it was obvious then his talent was limitless. He just gets better and better. Thanks to his dad for getting him started at such a young age.

I've been listening to Pink Floyd since the early 70s David gilmour is most wonderful.. but there is something about Billy strings and David gilmour's music this seems to be similar to me. For one thing I can't stop listening to either one of them. God thank you for David gilmour and Billy strings wonderful guitarist and singers. And has something in common with each other. I guess you could call it Pink Grass..

Billy Strings is a most welcome figure in the music scene. He is a brilliant instrumentalist and singer but also a refreshingly honest and straightforward presence who is not afraid to exude enthusiasm for his art and for the art of those who influenced him. His music and indeed his whole sensibility has a vibe that feels like a throwback to the 60s and early 70s and yet not in a manner that is attempting to create any kind of "retro" image but rather because he has tapped directly into the heart of American music, a heart that most other contemporary artists have lost touch with.
