Excellent demo of the stuff, been recommended this for cleaning my bike. And good shout on the hand pressure bottle for rinsing it off rather than a hose 👍
This stuff is pure awesome. I removed a very oil head from a Volvo D5 and sprayed this on neat, slight agitation with a brush and the oil fell off. Ive used it in various quantities around the house from 5% for general cleaning duties to 25% for greasy hobs and cooker hoods.
I'm gonna hit you with a Did You Know? Did you know Bilt Hamber (so I believe) are expert in anti corrosion and this product has amazing anti corrosion properties. I watched a vid where this product was tested on bare steel for its anti corrosion properties compared to several other detergents and degreasers. All others incurred various degrees of rust except Surfex which remained pristine. Its for that very reason I've just bought my first big jug of it 🙂😎👍
Wow just got me some of this 👍 what was your dilution ratio ? Really cut through that grease ! I'm wanting to clean the underside of my car and van ready for some lanoguard and acf 50 love !!
Anything Bilt Hamber gives great results and there pricing is pretty good too. Try their Atom MAC, great to spritz over exposed bare metal, certainly when putting the car away got any length of time, stops surface rust 😎👍
Hi Rick, have you ever used or compared with Frost Chassis Cleaner Degreaser? it seems cheaper. Cheers, and keep the good work you are doing :) Stay safe
TABRAO good question. The right hand top mounts are widely available but the left are none existent as you are probably aware. An option on the table, be it an expensive one, is to buy a pair of custom made top mounts from Totally Alfa but they come in at an eye watering £180 each and that is if you have your old top mounts to exchange. So at this moment I’m still undecided what to do for the best. Rick
Hi rick alfa owner here I use surfex to wash mainly my wheels and tires.I want to know if it is safe enough( to use it for my maintaining wash on my wheels and tires(every two weeks)? Because it is powerful there is any chance to harm my wheels paintwork?
Leon Bradley Hi. As an all purpose cleaner as well as a degreaser which can be diluted accordingly, the possibilities are endless really. It is safe to use on paint, wheels, tyres, carpet and upholstery, or simply to clean the engine bay prior to dressing.
@@_RicksGarage thanks Rick. I definitely need to try some. I can vouch that bilt hamber auto foam is awesome aswell as there clay barrs. Once again many thanks for Yr advice and will order some.
I've used it all inside my car, cleaned the inside roof which had mountain bike tyre marks and made the whole thing look brand new, improved all plastic trimmings, the steering wheel, seats and as a tyre cleaner used it on my cycling shoes earlier - cleaned them up nicely. I clean the bath and kitchen sink with it - no smell either compared to general kitchen/bathroom cleaners.
@@nottjohn9418 I use it on the car at around 1:9 for wheels and tyres, 1:19 for bodywork and exterior glass (only if I'm doing a decontamination, not as a regular wash product on the glass lol) and 1:4 for engine cleaning... I actually go down as far as 1:200 for interior cleaning before dressing the trim - cleans it up well and degrease the surface without to much product lingering around in the cabin lol.
