Hi there, great videos. How do I do to code headlamp low beam and hi beam error. I removed halogen and installed Led bulbs and gives me error. Question 2. Do you think that AuxBeam H7 with CANBUS codebox will work with no dashboard error? What do you recommend ? Thank you for your help

Carly is a rip-off. No refunds and they hide the fact that it's subscription-based. Deceptive advertising, sketchy business practices, no refunds, questionable value/functionality vs a standalone OBD2 scanner.

I bought it a couple years ago and actually spoke to someone over the phone and he said “if you go for that option it’s £109 but it isn’t a subscription it’s a one time payment” a year later they took £109 again and refused to refund

Bimmercode allows to be used by many different OBD2 adapter where Carly uses their own specific adapter that you have to purchase from them.

Hi Dean great videos they have been a massive help. only downside about this video is bimmercode have now stopped using Vgtate Icar pro adapter. I followed your link bought the adapter and I get a message saying bimmercode no Longer support that adapter. you might wanna update the link.

This was very informative. I had bought the Carly adapter for my car but I am considering Bimmercode as well. Do you know wether either of them are retrofit friendly? IE if I retrofitted an NBT Evo ID6 on a 2012 F series which did require some custom coding (not done by me). Thank you

Keep In mind Carly also has support for OLDER E-Series and honestly theres a bunch of them I would be missing on and getting different gear for to just diagnose them Is exta works, maybe even money. Plus carly also has a support for xx amount of different brands so you can peacefuly walk around with It in your pocket and do work on your vw and mercedes. I think theres some tradeoffs sure but speaking of volume which one can do really more. I think carly has the edge unless youre really Into your F30 and dont care about others at all.

Carly also has a yearly subscription fee, they auto enroll you (~$100), see the fine print. There are many good if not better options available that do not require a yearly subscription at a lower cost, same functionality. You rock BMW Doctor!

What are the recommended FEM codes when swapping stock halogen H4 bulbs for LEDs ( with no CANBUS) on a 2015 F56 Cooper 2 doors hardtop Base? Do you need to turn off voltage monitoring 1/2 and 2/2 in addition to the Warning option to make the expected light flickering and error codes go away?

Doc, can i turn off Auto leveling on LED headlights with Bimmercode? When my 640i driver side low beam moves up or down it shuts off. I have to flash highbeams to reset. Happens all the time on hard launches, hills, braking, and turns, and potholes...any quick movement and it shuts low beam off.

Correct the app and interface was made in Germany. The transcripts and all data is made in China and intergrated into the app. Therefore China and Germany share it together.

Damn. After watching this video I went to purchase Bimmercode only to see my 2004 E46 325i isn’t supported. I have scanners that work but they don’t code. To be honest, I upgraded my headlights and tail lights with Auxito LED bulbs and all I want to do is code those so I don’t get the error lights. I’m retired and looking for a cheap and easy way to do this. No way I’m buying Carly…too many nightmare vids on their annual renewal costs. Any ideas?

If you are considering using Carly, DON'T. If you know that is what you want and you are sure it will work with your vehicle, then buy it. When you do buy access to the software and it does not work, Carly WILL NOT refund regardless of how long you had the license, be it hours or days. Also be warned the license auto renews whether you want it or not.

Nice video ! I retired all my bad words ! Also you can add carly have all old models , bimmercode is super for f series, and bimmercode is lifetime , but for carly you must pay every year 60 euro but u can code also all vag group and toyota :) good video !

😅😅😅 glad you see bro 👊🏻 as I said it ain’t about slander of there product. If they was to move like BimmerCode has, like I even said in my Carly video then it would be different but they haven’t and still won’t. They make you pay so much a year for what ? When BimmerCode is a one off payment and so many different adapters to use, and don’t limit what you can code

@@BMWDoctor fair words, the worst thing of this applications they haven't factory reset module....its faster to coding some hidden functions with one of this applications., But you must have ncs, esys and skills to restore module if have a problem. The one of best thing on both application is that they recognise when frm3 have a problem and you get warning massage with that problem, but i m not sure did they detected the problem or they detected every frm3 😅😅😅also bimmercode havent expert mode for e series and not support most of e series, but i think bimmercode is better for F series for E series and simple coding f series - Carly

@@BMWDoctor I have an E70 LCI 35d xdrive (2011). Would you agree with @BMW CODING SOFIA saying that Bimmercode is better for F series and Carly better for E series? Seems like, even if there is no expert option for E series in Bimmercode, that the other benefits, like one and done payment, would still make Bimmercode the better choice. I greatly appreciate and look forward to your response so I can finally decide and move forward with a purchase! Great content @BMW Doctor!! Help please. I have bimmercode and i have a x3m Ive done a lot in expert mode, like having mph with the kmh dial, changed heat seating to max, higher than none expert mode, umm....lots of stuff, But i would like to do more but dont understand german, how do i translate to understand everything i see. Aktiv and not aktic, lots i would like to know. Got rid of all the pop ups in expert mode, dsc off was a great pop up to remove, was a long full screen affair before. Please help, dr. Appreciate it and thanks in advance
