This video is intended to accompany my Bind-Your-Own-MiniBook package, a digital product that enables anyone with a printer and some glue to bind the miniature books that I supply. There are currently (December 2023) only two available, but more will be added soon, along with similar products for larger books.
The digital products can be found here:

Impressive! Thank you for this very instructive video. Attractive result too. I look forward to making my own mini book of St John's Gospel from your package 'kit'.

I love watching your videos. The instructions are quite clear, but in this case I enjoy being a spectator much more than a participator. I have learned alot about how books are constructed. I very much appreciate you sharing these things. As always, you do great work. Thanks again

Nice videos, thanks! A suggestion for your videos. May I suggest a fade out / fade in transition where you pause to--say--press a book as those pauses don't always read clearly given your excellent lighting and fixed camera.

I contacted my newspaper printing facility and got several rolls of unused paper (what was left on the rolls when they had to change for new rolls) and I use it for scrap. There could be up to 50 meters left on each roll. You just have to ask who is in charge to get them. ;-)

Is the roller you used to smooth the acrylic medium a foam roller or something harder? It looks like a hard roller in the video.

7:28 How do you get the ink-jet printer inks not to bleed when using a water-based medium? 🤔
@AnnesiBindings

I find that if I work quickly it's not really a problem. But I do make sure that my brush is dry, and also the sponge that I go over it with. I had wondered if the ink would run, but it hasn't much (my colour ink is dye ink, which I feared would run). It may also be related to paper quality. I usually use a good quality Munken paper, but when I used ordinary printer paper for another video, could see on the back that it had run, although the front still looked okay.

@@AnnesiBindings The papermill in Munkedal is in Bohuslän, the province half my family is from, and where my grandmother’s summerhouse was when I was a kid. There are even stories in the family history about an innkeeper in Kvistrum close to Munkedal, involved in the border skirmishes between Sweden and Norway-Denmark two centuries before the papermill came to the neighbourhood. 😊

Hello! Can this be done with small pocketable paperback books?
@AnnesiBindings
@AnnesiBindings 6 месяцев назад
I'm not sure that I totally understand your question. You could make miniature paperbacks, but that would involve a different process to that shown here.

I have a whole series of Shambhala tiny books (3x4.5 inches) that are paperback (Thoreau, Whitman, and etc.), and some of them are getting tattered. How do I, or can I, add a cover such as you have shown here? Also I would like to see you add "The sermon on the mount, in this small format you are doing here. As important as this Sermon is, I can't find it in book form anywhere.Thank you, I watched the whole video, and learned lot.@@AnnesiBindings

@@binaryflat I actually did a mini book of the Sermon on the Mount a few years ago, and had thought I should include it in this project. I don't have much experience of paperbacks, but I think DAS Bookbinding did a RU-vid video on them recently, so it may be worth looking at his channel.

Thank you! I am a newbie with bookbinding, but it has always been interesting to me. Your books look GREAT.@@AnnesiBindings
