i am actually weeping.... i am not kidding. i had a rough childhood. and i used to find my solace riding my bike back behind the the houses in our development all by myself singing this song to myself over and over and over..... hearing it now is just.... SO nostalgic i am leaking.
Wow, wish they'd done more together--they blended so well--never heard them duet---of course, Nicoley, YOU are the QUEEN of new and exciting Bing things! Love them all---thank you for the time you spend providing us with such joy!
I didn't even know that Dame Vera Lynn and Bing Crosby sang a song together ever! They both were great! This "Sing" could be a rememberance to both of them! Thanks for sharing!
I remember hearing this when I was a little girl and my family would pick on my singing. Then I heard this song and would sing even louder. I still think of it and sing it at almost 49😘

Doobie: I agree with you. I wonder how many others in the world would say that Bing and Vera are "two of my favorite singers?" Not many. But they occupied special places in the world of popular music in England and the US for many years.
Também gosto muito de Vera Lynn, minha cantora preferida. Também gosto muito do Frank Sinatra, apesar que My Way e Let me try again eu prefiro com a Dame Vera!
Get Bing out of there. I just want to see Vera sing this to us. She's a good lookin' lady anyway, but she's really pretty here. I like her hair more soft and natural like this versus really fixed and sprayed/glued tight with hairspray like she wore it sometimes. I love Dame Vera. She's a real class act.
Know your history of these two coming together as they both sang for their countries in support for the troops during the Hell that was WWII. You can see so much respect for each other. I guess it's lost on people nowadays.
Simply brilliant . Real music beautiful ! Just think kids today in years to come will have their own great artist like Kanye West . Oasis . 50 cents ha ha ha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 long live vera 💜
Do you happen to have Vera Lynn doing a Medley of Shine On Harvest Moon/ Back In Your Own Backyard/ For Me And my Gal. If you do could you possibly put it on You Tube. Thanks
When you say you would disown your daughter and never speak to her again if she lived with a man, and have two children kill themselves because you were an abusive parent, I don't care how well you croon, you are a failure...
You have to remember that Bing was 72, Dame Vera 58. OF COURSE she looks younger. In any case, both look great, have great chemistry, and sing beautifully. Two icons.
