Thanks very much but I have a lot of questions regarding part b of the second example. If I use Pr(x=0) + Pr(x=1) + Pr(x=2) + Pr(x=3) + Pr(x=4), I get an answer which is greater than 1. This arises from the fact that Pr(x=4)=10/9 which is impossible in probability. If I try your method, I still wonder why you did not subtract Pr(x=6). Otherwise the video was very helpful.

The reason why I wanted to know which courses talks about Continuous Probability Distributions in colleges and universities because I don't know which courses talks about that? Please give me an answer to the question of which courses talks about Continuous Probability Distribution. Please answer my question.

Thank you for your feedback. There are 4 options for each multiple choice question in which only one option is correct. Probability of answering each question correctly is ¼ which is equal to p. Probability of answering it wrongly is ¾ which is q. You may need to watch the video on basic problem on probability for further clarification. Warm regards.

How did u get failure 0.2
@OninabResources
@OninabResources 2 года назад
P(success) = 0.8 P(failure) = 1- 0.8 = 0.2 Success and failure are complementary events and their individual probability sum up to 1.

@yssrvr
@yssrvr Год назад
You just have to think of a number that will make the number of success whole or complete. For example, u were given a success or (p) of 2/5 then think of a number that will make 2 a 5 and that is 3. So, your failure or (q) is 3/5

We have seen what is p as probability of success but we don't know how we seek a number P

Remember coin has two sides ,, that means head is one side and other side there's a tail ..therefore if we toss it once one may get head or tail which is 1/2

@OninabResources

Thank you for your feedback. On your question, we didn't include p(x=6) because there is no need for it since the number of trials in the question is 5 (n = 5). You may need to watch the video again for further clarification. Warm regards.
