The Philippine Eagle is a giant bird of prey that can only be seen in 4 islands in the Philippines- Luzon, Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao. The Philippine Eagle is considered to be one of the largest and most powerful among forest raptors. They are listed as critically endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The Philippine Eagles in the wild are threatened daily by human activities.
