Bioformer Reviews: Kulta Kai (Lord of Skull Spiders / Skull Grinder) 

The name, Kulta Kai, is a great pun. Skull Grinder's true name is Kulta, and the Kai in this bioformer also means "remastered(改)" in Japanese. By combining himself with LoSS, he remastered himself with a new form, hence the name, "Kulta Kai". Really clever.

I already posted a comment but I'm seriously impressed. I built this thing a few days after the upload and the most I've found for the torso is the possible upper legs. I cannot figure out how you can possibly build a combiner with such a solid single figure for the body. I like that how unlike hasbro combiners there is no sign of a torso.

There are two open ball joints on the legs, is that for the combiner, or can I cover them up with some of the leftover armor bits? (I use the black ones to coincide with the other armor).

This is amazing! I built it and i say it's a way better version than the original skull grinder. Plus there are a lot of extra parts, good for other uses.(I added height to pohatu using some parts)

Bionicle + Transformer = Awesome combiner

The only fix I suggest in a new video is to try and find a way to make him less stiff. The gear box function is almost solid, and it acasionally breaks or damages the parts.

how long will the time in-between the videos be?

Interestingly enough, while I totally feel the Megatron vibes(Beast Wars version in particular for me), his "vehicle" form kind of reminds me of Sideways in the Cybertron show.

ok so i wasnt gonna buy these guys at all because i thought the spider was poo and the grinder was just meh then i saw this vid and had to get them. I think you turned 1 poo figure and 1 meh figure into a very awsome robo skeleton...guy?...thing? whatever its kool as hell. I notice its been a while since you did a vid, are you planning to do more in the future?

You should of called him Skulta Kai

when are you going to be doing the kaitan combine video it's been almost a year

I think Kulta will be the main body in the combiner because he has the not covered ball joints near his knees and on shoulders.
