Glad to hear from you. On the basis of type of cell wall, bacteria are classified into 2 types: Gram +ve and Gram -ve. Mostly G +ve and some G -ve type of bacteria are known to form spores. Basic characteristics of spores formed by both types are usually same. Spores of Gram +ve bacteria i.e. Bacillus are used as biological indicators of sterilization.

Glad to hear from you. Yes, change in outer paper colour of indicator tube may also occur but it does not necessarily occur for all type of indicator tubes. It usually varies from brand to brand.

Biological indicator highly resistant hote hain..Its true... aur unki high resistance ki wajeh se hi unhe hum as indicator use krte hain. Par iska matlab ye nahi ki wo kill nahi kiye ja sakte ya ashes me nahi badal sakte...Sterilization process ka kaam hai sab life forms ko kill krna...indicator ko jo ki highly resistant hain agar koi sterilization process use kill kar de..It means wo baki moderate and low resistant ko bhi pakka kill kr dega. Isliye hamesha kisi bhi process ka indicator uss organism ko choose kiya jata hai jo apne aap me ek challenge hain 😊
