Maybe a little late, but you can obtain the weapons after ending the war. Just walk in the fortress to the "Throne room" and search for a chest. You don't get a quest marker or something, it's just a regular chest.
*PSA*: About the Jagni staff, the typhoon thrust attack that picks up an enemy and slams them into the ground is probably the best thing about the weapon. Not only can the slam hit more than one enemy but it stuns whatever gets hit by it. On enemies your size, you can cheese them by spamming it and they literally won't be allowed to move.
The best thing about the Jagni staff is its "Glide" ability (Jump, then Right Click on PC). You can reach certain places you can't if you use a Glider or the Bat mount.
⚠️ Ending the war wont remove the other tribe weapons ⚠️ All you need to do is go to the tribes main building after ending the war and itll be in the sifus room!
I'm running an unarmed melee build and I was thinking of going for the grapple hook! Sooo happy this thing maximises my melee potential thanks for the tip!
Fun fact: If you take two outposts and then switch tribes, you can get every piece of each tribes armor as well as weapon in the game. After you got all the tribe items, you can go back to the tribe you originally was gonna side with. I figured this out after I left the myriad for the jagni conpleted two and then switched to lotus, and then back to jagni. You can also decide whether or not to destroy the world eaters no matter what your tribe wants. So, don't stress it.
@@stevenunderverse6030 lol thank you for this. I ended up aligning myself with the lotus thinking the ankati were near them... only to find out they live in the deadzone haha
the Jagni staff little helicopter move actually also can be used with the helicopter backpack giving you quite a bit of added distance and lift. again... not as a weapon but as a tool. The bow... unfortunately I have my issues with. yes it's fast firing but I feel that it's also very inaccurate for it's stats. I have similar guns that are really accurate and they are lasers compared to this bow.
That's why I like Legacy gaming, always on point. Unlike some others out there who take a little longer, and albeit boring you till they finally reach what you want to know.
weapons? who needs weapons?... i played thru the entire game without ever touching weapons at all.. just kept the punching hand thing on me (forget the name) thruout the entire game just so i didn't have to swap to it to punch thru walls... I never touched melee at all... I played a fip psi-freak and could kill things with my magic alone... the only times i used a ranged weapon (ankati bow) was during the worldeater fights where magic couldn't be used. Near the end of the game I had over 500 int and my spells were hitting for so much damage that i didn't need weapons or health kits cus my lifeleech effect for psi-freak on powers...I just ran into a group of enemies used mothmouth once to confuse them and stop them from interrupting my chain lightning (ki spark i think was the name) and then just ki sparked them all to death in seconds..
@@truelove3435 yeah... every single one of them forces you into a mount and for some reason you cant use magic while mounted... but can use guns... probably coulda taken all those worldeaters down much faster if i could just get off the mount and use my magic... except the water one cus... well we cant swim..
Just wanted to boost you guys in the algorithm a bit as my copy has yet to arrive by mail 😭 love the channel though guys and definitely can't wait to binge all the content on this game!
Rank 1 - Jagni Staff does good damage have a Hover utility that no other weapon has giving you a little movement advantage and a knock back and a gap close with fox Toss for all the utilities it has compared to all the other weapons it’s rank 1 Rank 2 - Bow it has great damage and the combos are great allowing you to avoid attacks well you can take on a whole fight dodging and weaving not taking damage and doing great damage to the enemies. Rank 3 - Nun chucks great combos to do that have great damage a move where when a enemy is stunned you can airborne them and either continue the combo mid air or shoot at them while their in mid air Rank 4 - Shuriken it does decent damage not really doing good enough damage to enemies as I thought and fires fast and the combos for it are alright Rank 5 - grappling hook if you know how to use it’s really good but other than that on some enemies that constantly spin and stun you you can’t even do the combo because it cancels it and if you can’t do a combo with the grappling hook then you can’t attack at all because the combos are the damage for the grappling hook you can’t do basic auto attacks Rank 6 - boomerang why I put this last is the damage there is no damage to compensate for the low firing rate it’s like your throwing it it ticks the enemy then you have to wait for it to come back to then tick the enemy again with your damage the combos look decent but doesn’t really do good enough damage.
Its funny watching old Biomutant vids and how much the game appears to have changed, started my first playthrough this week as a Sab, and Melee is just devastating everything with the dual wield one handers
If you end the crusade early all you have to do is locate the main base on the map and when you visit go to the main room where the boss sits and pick it up. I've been doing this and had no problem.
I did not know that ending the war early would take items from me until I saw this video. I also didnt know about the tribe gear. I'm running around like I'm in Aladdin now with a boomerang.
The Jagni Staff's airtime ability can be used at the apex of a Helipack jump. And another video of yours shows using the Helipack off of a Mushroom bounce. If one could combine all three: A Mushroom bounce into a Helipack jump, boosted at the end by the Staff, then few things are beyond your reach vertically. And combine all that with the Glider, and *HORIZONTAL* airtime becomes a joke. Forget combat, as a traversal tool, the Jagni Staff secures the Number 1 slot PAWS DOWN!
A mix of Sol’s trunk and the Jagni staff makes a joke of water as well. You don’t even need either of the water mounts. By the time Sol’s trunk flying time ends the tiny bit of Ki energy you lost is back as long as you have a lick of energy regeneration.
I got to say all the small little problems I believe that they could probably fix with a patch. Because I love melee don't get me wrong I like shooting the guns in the game I don't think they feel wonky or bad my only thing is the smaller enemies are pretty good to fight with melee against but when you get to the bigger ones I feel like you can't get close enough to land more than one or two shots without getting hammered and I feel that the Perry system needs to be a little bit better for the bigger enemies versus the smaller ones
Seriously it's so stupid from the devs that they locked out the other weapons when you end the war peacefully. I mean c'mon, we joined the tribes so we could learn from them on how to use their weapons and still collect them afterwards. Why would punish your players that way!
Its a rogue like where you can farm in newgame + i dont know why you did the peaceful way. I took Jangi then took most of the map. Switched to a slightly less evil tribe fought my lost childhood bully then took the side of the last light tribe remaining and right my past sins after embracing this world... So I had to take everything back
@@evilovesperry yeah but still some people just wanna play the game and might not get to much invested after u clear it. I took end peacefully cuz i was just wondering what that would mean u can never know for sure what kind of impact it will have on the gameplay. But my point is still the same there are easy ways to implement the other tribes weapons whatever decision you take.
Be cool if they added a feature that let you craft the weapon type of a tribe weapon. So you can still craft better boomerangs. You would have to unlock them first of course.
i think the jagni tribe staff is very strong cause of it's typhoon attack but it does hit a point where it's not that good but i used t as my main weapon till late game
Fucked up and chose to pacify thinking it would quickly unlock all weapons but now I am locked out of all other tribe weapons. Do not pacify early. Also the Aura system means absolutely nothing be both good and bad. I've played through thinking you could only choose one
Uhh-ohh, I think I might have ended the tribes wars prematurely. I've been searching the map for other tribes and when I get there and talk to them through the door they won't let me in. There's no prompt to attack them and if I find a way to get in I get teleported outside the camp. Also when I go to "main story" it has something like conquer rival tribes and a marker to I believe my home base but when I get there the marker is just floating and I can't interact with it and when I go inside it kicks me out.
I agree with you with the whole “ranged dominant game.” The melee combat feels a lot worthless as the enemies become stronger. I know the flame two hand sword, and the cold crush are, hands down, the best melees, but the whole point of crafting games is that you go out there exploring, and craft weapons for you to use, and crafting melees is VERY pointless because how poor the melee combat is. Fighting does large lizard monsters with melees is like fighting a tiny world eater. The melee deserve an update, imo.
Hey man, I know it's down to personal preferences, but which do you think is more fun, a ranged build or a melee build? I know deadeye is overpowered af, but I pre-ordered for the mercenary class, so I feel left out since I'm playing a ranged plus psi hybrid. I can't do a ranged melee hybrid, since I plan on minmaxing a bit, so it's either melee psi or ranged psi
I (Livid) think that once you get into using something like the Grabbler and a melee weapon is more fun. It's not as strong, but the combat is definitely more fun that way.
Alright, now that I’ve finished the video, question about the grappler weapon. Does it also work as a Zelda hookshot as far as traversal goes? I want to say I saw it being used as such in one of the game’s trailers (or at least some item that looks like it). Am I remembering that right? And if so, what surfaces can it hook onto? Practically anything, only those yellow-painted climbing nodes, or somewhere in between the two?
@GamingRoachify on one good note, because the mage gets some decent spells, you can spend the bio points on resistances opposed to other abilities. Only a few of them are viable anyhow.
I'm sure they will update the game so we can upgrade tribe weapons because that sucks I really like using the staff I'm lv 36 and still use it on smaller enemies...
Thanks for the video and the spoiler warning of the effects of skipping the rest of the tribes , that’s was a life saver , as I really want al the weapons now I know the path I need to take.
TL;DR Tribe weapons suck. Instead get the dual wield melee skill and use high armor piercing weapons while using semi-automatic rifles as your main weapon.
