@@thewolf01x95 one class only, the breed is the name of the kind of creature: Primal, Rex, Fip, and so on. The class is stuff like Psi-freak, Commando and Saboteur. You choose your breed, your stats, and then your class.
I don't really feel that any of the class perks are so effective that one class will clearly shine over another, at least not to the point that any of the classes will be useless. I think overall there is enough freedom of choice to make any class perform the way you'd like it to (or at least very close to it). This is 100% PvE with no leaderboards or any of that crap. It's important to remember in a game like this that your enjoyment of the game, i.e. picking what you want over what is "best," is the most important goal. I'm honestly more excited for the exploration of this beautiful world than anything combat related.
@@kjellbeats honestly I'm all for fighters usually but something about this game doesn't grab me like that. I don't think the combat looks bad, not my point, but the feel of the game is appealing to me. It appears to not take itself too seriously. The tone of the story (as far as we know) is kind of heavy (not to mention the choice to be evil), but there's also this well embraced quirkiness to it that makes me feel like I'll be grinning for most of the time I play. Can't wait.
I just pre-ordered Biomutant 100% because of your videos. I really hope Experiment 101 gives you something for these videos, because I am positive that I am not the only one who has Pre-ordered the game because of you. I am really looking forward to this game. I have not decided if I will be Good or Evil, but I definitely want to do a Mage Build!
I preordered the game off principle, but I cannot deny that his coverage of the game has been very good. I love that he explains so much with spoiling so little.
Yo! A Fip/Psi-Freak is EXACTLY what I want to build! Thank you for saving me some time when I start building my character! I have already paid for my copy! I just need it in my hands!
Definitely picking Margel, just cause the breed looks adorable. Picking PSI-freak, pure unarmed melee with Spark Ball, Sizzle Ball and Ki Spark in the place of guns. Also using levitation for increased DBZ vibes.
I'm leaning towards Sentinel for my first character, as for breed i'm not sure yet Rex or Murgel would probably make for the most versatile breeds, and throwing Sentinel on them would seem to make for a combo that leaves room for a lot of options.
I'm going commando first, I'm a sucker for range weapons. However I plan to try everything this game has to offer. Not worried one bit which are best builds and loadouts, Gameplay is all it matters.
I wanna do something with the Mercenary or Sentinel not sure on breed yet probably something with good damage and tank. Never thought I would be this excited for Ninja Space Weasels!
@@maddixvoid5549 huh? I think u made a spelling mistake there so what I think your asking is can you use powers with the mercenary class if you are the answer is any class can use any power the powers you can just depends on your aura. like if you have dark aura you can have a spark ball and light aura you can have a power that lets you surround the area with Ice
@@KetamineKhan that is slightly incorrect... the spell that comes with the psi-freak class is exclusive to that class and cannot be obtained as any other class... but other than that yeah you can use spells as a merc... they even share the +20% ki energy recovery from psi-freak so merc is like a combination of all the classes... they have 1 passive from every class as like the ultimate hybrid.
@@arcanumelite4853 ah ok my bad I had no Idea psi-freak had its own spell I thought it was like the saboteur or mercenary class where if you don’t play as them you can still unlock the duel weilding skill later on or in this case the psi freak spell
Wow,now I Knows evrything (40%)what will be in this game, where is Surprise?I Really miss those games in 80-90th when you dont know nothing obout the "New Game#,except release day&payment!!One or two Video from Devs are enough to see the base, structure of the game, other may find our-self...But Latter is every Help Welcome(like Raid in Div2)!Just my humble oppinion!
Bro I pre-ordered, then bought a monitor cause I broke the last one playing vr. So I basically paid $360 to wait almost 75 more hours to play a game I'm going speed through in two days! But the best part is that I can't wait
I set my pre-order for Biomutant just the other day. All I know is that I want a character with a good balance between melee and ranged damage. So, dead-eye may be the one for me. Yet, actually I'm torn between that and the mercenary. Either way, can't wait to play
Uh, the Dead Eye is also NOT centered around dual wielding guns. It's more for single shot rifles, with ONE perk, just ONE, that does the two gun foo. In fact NONE of them are Two Gun Woo classes... :( I'll just have to build it.
Probably gonna go with a Murgal Merchenary first. Focus on melee damage to start and get to know the game better. Gonna mix it with range and a little utility magic for mobility. High Crit and luck
same, with any game with character creator the replayability goes up significantly so I'll probably do multiple playthroughs for different builds and clans
I am gonna be the biggest toughest and buffest flufball in all of Biomutant. gonna go Hyla sentinal, with 2 handed melee weapons, high strength, vitality and a bit of speed and luck. Beserker style.
Pretty excited. My new PC came in today from Origin (would have preferred to build my own but ... shortage). Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 3080 FE, 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX, 1TB Samsung 980 Pro, MSI MEG X570 ACE, in a Corsair 4000D Airflow case. Also got a Samsung Odyssey G7 for that 240hz amazingness. Can't wait to play Biomutant on my new setup! :D
Went psi freak! Been very good as once you've got the spells covered, you can start specking into something else.. I've started moving into a gun mage sort of thing. and for anyone wondering, go shotgun! Get a decent receiver with a decent perk and this thing makes perfect for covering yourself while energy restores. Also agreeing with making sure to dump one or two points into luck. Looting has been insane and having about 20-25 luck is more than enough 👍
IMO commando kinda sucks. 20% is way too low for not enough benefit. If it was truly high risk high reward it would need to be like 50% buff or, even better, a scaling buff that increases the more damaged you are. Brutality should just be all attacks have 10% more crit damage, since 10% is just too small to make a huge difference considering the point investment.
At 4:42 you said we can unlock all the perks in the perk tree of the psi-freak. Is that how all the classes work? The initial perks are just to get you started but they are not unique and available to all classes as you level up??
@@Casper0878 yeah Everything in the any of the classes you can find in the world, including the perks (including the merc class even if you don’t have the dlc)
Have the fixed the PS5 issues yet? I really wanted to smash this out but i can’t bring myself to buy another broken product, with outriders/cyberpunk enough is enough.
@@skullzia1782 That's not really the point. The point is that's it's weird we have two classes focused on dual melee and no class focused on dual guns.
