Gen 2 was just executed poorly... They needed to capture the exact essence of gen 1 not try to create something new that was only roughly based on gen 1......... I just wish the team that made new Bionicle had at least a few members who had nostalgia for the 01-06 series. While it's sad that the franchise is dying off once again we can at least look back at those old music videos (gravity hurts, what it takes to be a hero, etc) and pretend that the world has gone back just a little over a decade for a few minutes. Remember that Bionicle still continues so long as the fans do.
