Eirowar, Warden of the Forest, is one of the six heroes who defeated the ancient demon Orzut as it ravaged the world of Ursi. With the war ended, Eirowar and his fellow tree-dwellers returned to the woodlands of Paona to find their once bountiful home amidst turmoil. A vile plague, spawning out of the neighboring wetlands of Dahlu, spread its vile tendrils to the forest.

I always loved Eirowar's colour scheme and design but I wasn't a fan of his overly short arms and overly long legs in the original build... but this, this is just perfect

i love the little functions all of your mocs have. most of the time when i see gears on a moc it is just random greebles, but your mocs all have little features. makes it feel like looking on the back of a Lego set

I absolutely adore your take on the Bionicle story!! setting the story AFTER the big Makuta-esque conflict and focusing on inter-personal ventures between individual tribes and characters is a really interesting and smart move, and the way you bridged the gap between the "Air vs Jungle" debate is genius. Can't wait to see more!

I like that his gauntlets and shoulder pads are the same color has his bow, visually implying they're made out of the same Zephyrwood material as his bow

Precisely! Zephyrwood is incredibly rare. The fact that the Paonan people have bestowed so much of it upon their hero implies his significance.

I hope it turns out the Zephyrwood Tree was actually just a regular tree and Eirowar realizes he needs to be there for his people, using his power and skills to fight the plague directly. It would be good character development.

I really like this character and I think there are a couple of differences but I like that's he's near-identical to his original version. The bow is my favorite and I love how that is designed here along with the powerful-looking wings. Well done with the build! Really looking forward to seeing the other four.

He definitely came out as a one-off design. I knew I wanted to make an alternate team of Toa-esque figures but wasn't so sure how to go about it. When Bionicle was cancelled I started toying with the idea of a new world and Eirowar has been front and certain in my mind ever since.

Thank you so much for redesigning him! I managed to reverse engineer the original design of his wings from the first video but I could never get the timing of the gears right.

Excellent revamp, I'm glad he kept his lanky legs. Am I sensing a theme with the Wardens being associated with a larger (metaphorically) mystical force guiding their motives? You've got Onuari with Mairana, and now Rakiki with Eirowar. The little tidbits you've thrown in do a great deal for worldbuilding and intrigue.

Hey thanks Maxie! Glad you like Eirowar 2.0! And yes, there are definitely mysterious forces at play far beyond the understanding of even the Wardens. Learning more about them, their motives, and how they interact with one-another will be a huge part of unravelling the lore of this world.

Hey Finn! Not all Protectors will be turned into Wardens. I'll be drawing inspiration from multiple sources to bring the Wardens to life. Keiuri is really special to me and I will certainly find a place for her in the world.

I have a suggestion for a 30 Minute MOC: turn one of the other elements, (Sonics, Psionics, Gravity, Plantlife, Plasma, Light, Iron, Magnetism, and Lightning), into a 2015 style Toa. My personal favorite is Psionics, because I imagine the matorans duty is to be basically therapists (using their Psychic powers to read minds) everyone else to get them back to work. Also because their color is gold and blue.

Very nice redesign. While I did like the bootlike foot design of the original was really good, I can definitely get behind this remake.

In what set were these big lime parts? Eirowar was my favorite moc of yours 5 years ago or so (idk how long it was) and now he is even better! Btw did you look at the challenge submissions yet I build mine and are very proud of myself for what creative build i have created in 30 minutes (It didn't look so hard on camera...) Sorry if i typed to much i was just so excited from the new Eirowar

I took rough inspiration from Eirowar Classic for the design of the Green Warmaster of my OI(Original Island) His name is Lasanta, and is most definitely the most mechanically smart of my 6(or 7) Warmasters

Hey Cha! That remains to be seen. From what we've seen so far the Warden's definitely have a lot of challenges just with their everyday lives. Doesn't shoulder armor's balljoints interfere with brick holding arms?

Nope! His arms move pretty smoothly without interference. The shoulder armor tends to move in tandem however the arms are moved. Occasionally the shoulder pads need to be reset back down as they tend to creep upward the more his arms are manipulated.

MOC is really good in terms of the build and is a vast improvement over the original, but I feel the color distribution could be worked on.

Can definitely understand the sentiment. The part distribution in these colors are lacking so it was a balance between color and overall aesthetic. Both had to be compromised in some aspects to accommodate the other.

Hey John! Glad you liked him! Yalgarok is 100% a part of the World of Ursi. The monster was even referenced in my previous video Nateke the Tale-Spinner! Yalgarok will be a huge part of the story over time. I'm not certain I'll do a major revamp on it anytime soon but you'll definitely see it popping in and influencing the Ursian people both in fear and in a hunger-lust to harness some of its power.
