1 quick clarification:
The Bios/UEFI is a firmware that is stored in a Chip on a motherboard and it is the first piece of Code that runs on a Computer.
When you make changes on the Bios, these changes are not stored on the Bios itself, but on a Memory Chip called CMOS. Therefore in reality you Reset the Password on the CMOS not The Bios.
However, because of the common lingo in the tech support world BIOS is more broadly used.

Thank you! This worked on my Optiplex 9010 MT. I also replaced the CR2032 battery while I was in the case.

I don't have VGA monitor, only display port, do you know if this screen of BIOS only slowed up through the VGA? I mean, my screen keeps black until windows boot

might need to use svga after resetting cmos battery change like i have to plug into the svga to get a boot after screwn with the jumpers ... like dell kinda stops on all errors a real F stopper and even after you are up and running if you plug in a monitor after the machine is on its a boo boo you wont get any posted video the machine stops somewhere after post but doesn't go into an OS gives amber blinks
