its been years and i only now learned that “and Atlas Shrugged” is actually emphasized in that line so hard because its a reference and not just cause it sounds sick as hell

that "would you kindly" gave me fucking war flashbacks

It took me playing through the game again to find out that “rise, rapture, rise” is actually a line in the game.

I found this song randomly on my Amazon Alexa, and then I watched an actual playthrough of the game, so now I'm practically obsessed with the song and lore

I remember watching my dad play BioShock when it first came out and I was little. Sitting on the floor of dad's office. He even refused to kill the Little Sisters' because they reminded him of me. He's the best dad ever.

Why didn't i find this song sooner?! I am missing out so much! This song/rap is great, a masterpiece! The "Rise Rapture Rise" sends shivers down my spine.

"Looking for something to set me apart from a slave" that's a powerful line but it's true. Jack saved all the little sisters and that makes him more then a slave but a Angel and a man. Through out his life when he hears "Would You Kindly" he has to do what the person that ordered him wants. Him saving the little sisters was the ONLY time he was able to make a choice....A REAL choice. That choice then saved him at the end of the game as the little sisters helped killed fontanie and he helped them grow up....as a family. Father, Angel, and A man....he is definitely more then a slave.

Man, now that I’ve actually played Bioshock, the amount of references you guys put in this song is amazing Not that the song wasn’t amazing before I got all the references, but man, it’s even better now that I do. “I asked who Fontaine was and Atlas Shrugged” god that’s such a great line

I remember, when I was little.. my father was playing this game.. I was thrilled to always watch him play Bioshock. He is one of the best gamers I've seen. Now this Little Sister has taken after him in gaming. He always reminded me of a Big Daddy... him a giant, that's protective... will do anything to keep their loved ones safe. He also reminds me of Sander in some ways. But anyways, nowadays my friends compare me to this game as I do with family. I've always enjoyed this game. It's in my top favorites, along with Skyrim.

No matter how many raps you already made, this is still the best one. You hear and feel all power, all crime and dark mystery of the atlantic city coming together

It’s kinda weird how man who does kneel to god or follow king that he would name his city RAPTURE and name his products EVE and ADAM

It's incredible just how relevant Bioshock is still today. In fact I would say Bioshock is even more relevant then it was back in 2007. Our society has become like Rapture. People are drugged up on insane ideologies, our world is flooding as ocean and Co2 levels rise and all the while those at the top preach about "self reliance" like its a damn religion.

When it says “we’ll go down in our sinking paradise” I thought it said “we’ll go down without seeing paradise”

I watched this before and after playing the game for the first time and it all makes so much sense

What i love about this song are the lyrics" we'll go down with our sinking paradis" it makes me think of how the city has fallen into the chaotic nightmare that it is now, how the people of rapture became the drug addicted monstrosities they are now roaming the city in search of adam and the lyrics" we turn our hopes to the skies" it makes me think of those who want to escape from the nightmare that is rapture, as if pleading for someone to save them. What is sad is that the people who came to rapture believed they were going to a better place not only for themselves but their families as well, where no crime or war would take place only find themselves trapped in a place made out of nightmares.

The Bioshock series is one of my favorite game series. I have played each game over 15 times and when my friend informed me that you made this song I swear my heart stopped in hope. I have listened to your Five Nights at Freddy songs and I loved them so I was so excited. This was better than I hoped. It was after listening to his 8 times that I jumped onto Amazon, where I got your other songs, and immediately bought the .mp3. Thanks man for this. It has to be one of my favorite video game based songs to date.
