Birch bark Canoe tips with Tom Byers 

I was fortunate enough to spend a day working with Tom Byers, Master canoe builder here in Sudbury Ontario. Tom needed some Cedar, and so we hunted for perfect cedar for ribs and sheathing for a Birch bark canoe! There wasn't a plan for recording video, but I felt that there was valuable tips to be learned in the clips that I got. It's a great opportunity to watch a master at work. Watch the video a few times and you might learn something different every time!
