I have heard. About these. Mattresses for a while now. And I was considering buying one. But I'm not sure if I would like it. So I thought I would enter in the give away. Just to try it out if I won. I do have some bad problems. Since I'm a tad older than I was. Last year. So if Birch mattresses will help I'm all for it.
I purchased the Burch original mattress about 2 weeks ago for my brother who just turned 70 yesterday, Christmas Eve. He is paranoid schizophrenic and has had night terrors for years. I did have to have a young man take the mattress from my living room to my brothers room because it is very heavy or at least I think it is. I told the man to bring a dolly to move it. When he came to move it, he said this isn't heavy, he's a tall muscular young man, so maybe it wasn't heavy for him, but for most people, especially older folks like me and my brother, it is very heavy. lol Since my brother has been sleeping on this new mattress, he has not woken up with night terrors. He has slept so well and I'm so thankful for it. The company sent 2 new pillows with the mattress and also 2 new pillows came a day later in a box. They are very soft, I mean squishy soft. I prefer a firmer pillow. Anyway I gave the young man the two new pillows that came a day later and he was very happy to get them. I highly recommend this mattress. They have a payment plan that was as low as about 60 a month. I chose to pay it out in 6 months so my payment is quite a bit higher. My brother loves his new mattress and says it is very comfortable.
I would prefer a organic mattress over others! I don't even like to eat things that aren't organic, so why shouldn't it be the same for where I sleep?!
I really think med firm is to hard. Sleep 90% or more on sides. Latex sounds interesting but not thick enough above coils for my interest. Just a bit pricey for the difference.
I have been having a difficult time making a choice on a natural and organic bed. Over researched and overwhelmed. Birch or avacado is a big debate for me. No sure what to purchase.
I think these mattresses are both too firm for me since I am a heavy side sleeper. It’s nice that they have a topper as an option, but I can’t see spending $450 on a topper. I’ll probably just go for a bed that suits what I need better. 🛌
I’m laying on the luxe mattress topper right now. I love it. Laying on my side feels good! And I was laying on a 4” thick piece of memory foam before now. I’m happy! Think I might get the regular mattress next.
After watching the video I still don’t know if lux version has better lumbar support (which they advertise and is absolutely a must for us) or not. IMO this is the biggest difference in between the two versions.
Can someone give me super fast last minute advice between the Avocado Green Pillowtop King and the Birch Luxe King (no pillow top)? These are the same price of $2900 for me today only, I have to order today, they are both about even on firmness as far as I can tell, the Birch Luxe does not really need a pillowtop as it’s a bit softer. I am a 45 year old male at 275-300 lbs at the moment but I hopefully plan to get that down to 200-225 within a year or so. The Birch also can be had 0% interest for $100 Mo for many many months and Avocado is 0% interest for only 12 months with a bit higher payments of course. I do like the Birch Luxe for the additions it offers and it’s not a money thing for me Vs the normal Birch. I don’t think I will need the pillowtop for the Birch, and I’m not sure I want one sliding around on an adjustable base either.
I'm a strictly side sleeper so I don't think would work for me. I do want to say that I love your videos and I'm learning a lot about mattresses and I'm still deciding. Thank you
Mattress material really isn't felt after you put sheets on a bed. Or a topper. So unless the material is going to do something about the feel. Not much use for it. And with cooling sheets, it's hard to believe a soft covered mattress will make a difference.
I’m interested in natural and organic beds. I would like the hybrid with latex. I bought my son hybrid organic plush mattress and I love it so much more than my memory foam mattress. It was a hard decision to make. But after watching your mattress review on it. I went for it.
I would prefer a natural or organic mattress over others. I have been looking into different brands but my husband and I cant exactly afford a new mattress at the moment. Hopefully this year will be the year that we get one! Fingers crossed! Been sleeping on the same uncomfortable bed for about 10 years now. Time for a new one! Thanks for the videos and good info! 😊
