Im 68 years old and I can tell you that Underworld really have become one of my all time favourite bands. Have seen them 3 times and danced my little heart out at each concert
No insult, no sex, no violence. Just hipnotyse, poesie, even the magnificent clip!!! Underworld know how to make dream us, let us think without seeming pompous. A big big fan since long time. Bravo et longue vie in french.
Year 2023. So much crazy sh*t is going on right now. I’ve heard this song so many times in so many years. And each of the listening moment is an inner and deep experience, inside my body, within my soul. There is one bird in my house.
One of my top 10 favorite songs of all time. The beauty of it actually makes me tear up. By the way, there are at least a dozen Underworld tunes in my top 100, including Underneath the Radar from my teen years. Great music.

The way the harmonics also change around "sounded like a chainsaw" always gets me, it's like the tune has been somewhat oppressive with it's single tone and chord in most of the tune, and then finally opens up and evolves just around there, it's really impactful.
The flowers are Lilies if anyone is curious. They actually only have 3 petals (like most other monocots) While it looks like they have 6 petals the outside 3 are actually modified leaves (called bracts). Good quiz question..how many petals are on a lily? 3. If anyone tells you different, throw this at them.
la belleza del concepto es increíble, la paciencia para lograr el ajuste al tempo y la edición lo hacen mejor aun, es poesía postmoderna, sigue la línea de los videos de los noventa en los que no necesariamente refleja lo que dice la letra de la canción, y conceptos que al menos te dejen más interrogantes en la cabeza y te hagan pensar que hay belleza en el mundo, efímera como estas flores, pero hay que saber disfrutarlas, y ya! INSTANT CLASSIC!
I can´t belive I´ve never heard this master piece from Underworld. And I consider my self a real follower of their work. The sound, music production of underwolrd is always a blast. Like made to test hi quality sound equipment. They are so unique is always a trip to listen their music.

So reminiscent of Dark and Long, this track is the perfect opener to a fever dream of an album. I'm far too old now to indulge in psychoactives so this is the perfect alternative.
The video is an evocative and poetic metaphor. The voice is pure water into the throat, when you are very thirsty. NOT UW, only Karl Hyde (live perfomances?)

I remember i was i China. By train i went to see my friend in VERY small village. She was from very small village. She also get me a hotel. As I understand it was CHINESE PARTY hotel on only big street with street lights which went trough the village. I had been many months without internet or good music. In this luxory hotel I had ridicilous big TV and internet and stereo. I listen this song in repeat while I stay there. What a good memories...
this is new, contemporary electronica you can actually like! underworld are one of my favourite electronica bands. they are still makig brilliant music. YES. much better than most of the younger contemporary "artists" on the charts nowadays.
