clubredken it depends on what kind of person you are. I especially like the post apocalyptic theme...I can’t really say it was super scary. It depends on your imagination, you may find it scary.

There were moments that I was just like "really?" *SPOILERS AHEAD* Like when the old lady walks towards the crazy guy in the house who was pulling the papers off the windows. Even with your eyes closed you walk away from the sound he is making. Also the fact that mentally insane people were immune and were enemies. Like why are mentally ill people always painted as enemies or scary in movies? It would have been better if they were just manipulated by the entities or whatever it was to just kill people or expose their eyes. Also for the trip to the supermarket there was no reason for Malorie to go. She's pregnant! Also the moment when charlie (I think?) sacrificed himself in the market was poorly done I think. They all could have just slammed the door shut. I know the older guy in the group would have done it. It just gives me mixed feeling about the movie. I loved Sandra's acting and the suspense of the travel on the river and the mom almost losing them. I even think the way Tom died was great. It's a film that I like and dislike. I feel like it could have been done better.

One thing I don't like though and it seems to be a current trend is they don't explain what it is and where it came from. Just like that other netflix movie how it ends

@@mianrowan I took seeing the scissors as a forshadowing to her killing herself not him. It just didnt seem like she was going to do it to me lol. But fair enough the majority of people probably thought she meant to attack him. And also about the guy possibly being really strong. Why was it so easy then for charlie to push the guy back outside? Even if he took the crazy person by surprise. Also what about the guy that was attacking Malorie on the boat? He could have just pulled her off easily if he had super strength or even flipped the boat over. But then maybe different people are just affected differently from the creatures. Idk its just a bit inconsistant.

I thought it was just me..everyone else gave it a 10/10. But I thought it was just ok..

M.A.I.A !! In my opinion, everything felt tied up. I liked how they didn't explain the monster/entity. And the acting was pretty good too. Granted, some things were predictable, but the movie was pretty good, in my mind.
