1:47 I love how Peg knows her boss well enough to know this was a direct result of naivety rather than intentional, and she knows that makes it SO MUCH WORSE.
Birdie is that celebrity that would endorse Donald Trump but not because she believes in him as a politician but because she thought he'd have her guest star on The Apprentice, even though he stopped being on the show.
Ever since watching the "Everything great about..." I can't not notice the phone Helen throws into her bag at 03:52 when the camera is slowly zooming in on her face
3:48: Y’know, I have a theory that since this doesn’t match up with anything else of Birdy’s character, that this was a line from the murder mystery party, given how this monologue feels more…drama kid-esch
Just putting this out there, but if the Disruptors had a spin off which worked in the same way as Friends then Birdie is the Phoebe of the group. I love that thought.
She knows the name I think and maybe a basic thought of “helped slaves with underground rail road” although she might also believe the underground railroad actually operated like a train station
@@spiderrocket8367at this point we need a spin off where Birdie makes these kinds of stupid assumptions, I would genuinely watch it. She’s the Phoebe of the Disruptors.
Even the character is a direct parody of the actress, who did an incredidbly ableist movie that contained also cultural apropiation and homophobia, but she genuinely though it was a movie to bring awareness
@@redrasegarden Helen isn't an antagonist, Birdie is the least evil out of the people that are framed as possible bad guys. I mean Whiskey and Birdies assistant whos name I am blanking on were never framed as bad guys either.
