they are quite common here in brazil in my house, there is a tree, and usually you can see 10 or more of them really beautiful

Wow these birds are so endowed. Wish I were that endowed. The horned bill is another amazing bird. I think toucan is native of south America and horned bill is native of south east asia but they are cousins.

@kosilveriarn If you and me were both sitting around talking with a toucan and understanding its language, we'd both be humbled by how much that beautiful little creature would teach us about God! Sadly, an instinct of a little animal can sometimes be purer than human's intellect that drives him to be arrogant and ungrateful to his Creator. As to whether we'll both come out believing in Him, well if observation of such great and miraculous balance in nature does not lead to Him, nothing will.

Well somebody doesn't understand evolutionary biology! Cripes people even the Vatican has accepted evolution as fact. God's designs are sooo great that he left us (his best creation, a reflection of the image of god) with vestigial structures like wisdom teeth, a tail bone, and appendix. Pretty sloppy design if you ask me, Toucan's can't be much better.

@prettyyounggirl1918 I was given some Toucan bills while I was in Ecuador (White-throated toucans) and I was amazed at how light they are! They are totally hollow and actually quite delicate.
