I wanted to sit down and chat with you about my birth story and give you all of the details. I had a lot of fear leading up to my due date that I overcame. I (im)patiently waited for spontaneous labor to happen at 41 weeks and 1 day. And then baby had an unexpected shoulder dystocia. It was a journey of ups and downs but we finally had baby #2 in our arms!

I only had one baby, and I had to have a C section due to my son’s heart rate dropping with the induction. I wanted another. As scary as this is, I would have loved to have had a second baby and known what it was to born a baby. My husband wouldn’t have the second. It will forever be a lot of grief around all of this. I’m grateful for my son, he is a man now. It just hurts.

Congratulations! So happy for you 😊 I know the video you did of your first pregnancy did really well! As that's how I found you. Just a thought, might be worth having in the title or something your age and 2nd pregnancy after infertility as I think a lot of people are looking for hope in those areas ❤

Beautiful story. It was a little triggering for me because I had a stillborn, but I’m so happy to hear your story. We are trying for our second living baby. This story gives me a lot of hope since I’m 39 and I just feel I’m out of the game. Would you mind if I ask you if you had any miscarriages in your journey?

My second baby had shoulder dystocia and got stuck. My body went into shock and I had an out of body type of experience. They broke his collar bone to get him out and he wasn’t breathing but thank God they were able to get him breathing and he is now a healthy almost 19 year old. Congratulations on your new baby!

I was so much more terrified my second time around than I was the first because my natural birth with #1 was horrible and I was so relieved when I had to have a c section was afraid because of the emergency side of it but the thought of natural labor again was terrifying and I wouldn’t think twice about having another c section even with my spinal not taking and me feeling them cut me before they knocked me out 😂 both births were crazy in their own way but I feel so blessed with my beautiful 🌈 babies after our 12+ years of infertility.

Same here. 43 yo for my only son, but my health declines dramatically downhill since then.

Honestly, life just got so busy with chasing a toddler, being exhausted and running a business. I’m always striving to find a way to incorporate RU-vid into my life more because I love it!
