You know what's wild about this segment. It just shows how discrete Ghost really is. From the looks of this video, it's telling me not everyone knows about "Ghost". Being he is not on trial for his crimes as a murdering and drug dealing kingpin but a crime he did not commit legitimately. The song they played in the beginning and the end had the lyrics "they made a monster out of me". We as the audience knows James as "Ghost" and we know how he gets down, we already know he is a monster. With the events to come with him in prison we the audience will see the regression from the love bound and dream seeking Jamie and James St. Patrick back to a guy we haven't even seen before, maybe even pre-Power Ghost. A more aggressive, violent, and murderous Ghost, we all met Ghost in season one as the New York distributor for Lobos, under threat of Lobos later revealed. When I mean by a "pre-Power Ghost" I mean a young corner boy hustler coming up with Kanan, Breeze, and Tommy, I remember Kanan telling Tyreek of his father's past and him describing as the "One of the baddest M*therf*ckers on the block". I would love to explore that side of Ghost this season, maybe in flashbacks even.
