A fun game! I didn't realize until after I'd already uploaded it that I defeated Expert Klaw without going through the encounter deck OR my deck!

I don't own Bishop but I've watched a lot of games with him on youtube, including this one: The guy seems insane lol. Very fast match, poor klaw. :p GG!

Yeah I got so excited about Bishop that as soon as I was done rendering I went ahead and uploaded it, and I didn't want to wait until next Friday to post it!

It's morning here but I'm going to watch this straight away!:) I'm glad you love Bishop...he is Sooooo Good and so much fun to play! I was wondering if you'd be "game" for something? A crossover of sorts...how would you feel if we provide a deck for each other to play?:)...Just thought it'd be fun! We can either predetermine heroes or villains...or not...! Would you be up for it?:)

10:08 the ruling for retaliate I am wondering....as I've heard if you defeat the villain and they still have the keyword (retaliate) then they carry that into the next stage...was Alex's (from FFG) confirmation on Hall of Heroes?...I just want to make sure I'm playing it right too!:)

Ok, I'm watching a D20 video now which has the whole saga of retaliate and the answer from Alex...! Who knew Champions rulings would be so dubious!!:p snicker snicker

It might be by now, but I saw it on D20's channel: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XpbE4AdqsCY.html at 8:05 ish. They're throwing out Caleb's ruling from a few years ago and are going to update Retaliate to only trigger if the character with Retaliate is not "defeated". So if you "defeat" a stage of a villain it won't trigger even if it gains (or still has) Retaliate. That makes sense to me, but I wish there weren't so many ambiguities in the game that need to have rulings!

@solomarvelchampion Yeah it makes total sense but like you, the ambiguity is enough for me to see how it can be interpreted differently...glad we got confirmation on it!

Either I missed it, or did you not reveal an encounter card on the villain phase of round 1?

You're correct, I didn't deal an encounter card. I didn't even catch than in editing or I would have popped up some text. Good catch! It's probably because I was dealing with his Response and just got ahead of myself, but I'm not sure LOL

@solomarvelchampion ok good 😌 I was worried I was playing it wrong or something. And yeah, there was A LOT going on in that first round! Love the video by the way! We're slowly getting better and I'm keen on seeing how other players deal with schemes/villains!

@@RasAlCool thanks! I hate leaving an error like that in the video though. I said if I'd caught that in editing I'd add some on screen text, but I would've probably scrapped it and re-recorded instead.
