I do believe Thomas messed up at CU and you can't blame CP for holding him accountable. I believe Georgia State thinks Thomas will take advantage of his second chance. CP did the right thing. Perhaps it was disrespect to the coaches or to staff, female or otherwise. CP already said you would be gone if so. Bishop didn't want his warts seen on the camera. CP warned them this would happen. I hate to see Thomas go and I wish him well, but CP had no choice, or else he would have been crucified in the media and would lose the respect of his players and fans. That's the price you pay for trying to build a talented team with integrity.

You have a good point. Who knows, maybe CP talked to the HC at Georgia Tech. CP cannot lower the standard at CU for one player, but he can send a young man to another place for a second chance. Thomas should be grateful that CP has not told the whole story. CP loved Bishop so it had to be something serious and I believe he has already made an impact on his life.

Sy’Veon Wilkerson was with Coach Prime at Jackson State on a back to back SWAC championship team. He followed Coach Prime to CU. So if he didn’t feel he was developed why follow Coach Prime, he could have stayed at Jackson. Also Coach Prime really showed that he liked Bishop and he was a CU favorite Buff. At what point do these young men take accountability for their actions, work ethic , development as men and stop being petty and taking shots. Man up, if they chose to leave then leave and go be great. Petty comments after they leave speaks volumes about their character and they potentially burn bridges. I wish them well in their endeavors and Bishop was one of my favorites but He needs to look himself in the mirror and ask did he meet the standard, did he do all that was required of him to succeed. Young people today are annoying when they blame everyone for their shortcomings and have participation trophy mindsets and don’t want to work for nothing, they want instant gratification and just want “the bag”. I applaud Coach Prime for holding the standard to develop these young men and to prepare them for the reality beyond football. So many of you Prime haters are so blinded by your own issues and bias that you can’t see the bigger picture. Most of these young men are not going to NFL and even if they are blessed to reach that level they need to develop the skills necessary to be successful in the real world. College is for education #1 and laying a foundation for their futures , then Playing on a college football team or any sport is a privilege and not a right. Best wishes to the young men and decisions they make for their future endeavors. They want what Coach Prime has already achieved so sometimes young people need to listen and follow the blueprint.
