Your silly if you don’t think a team wants him more than a ratchet girl wants her abusive bd 😂 he was a 5 star and is still is a 5 star don’t matter if he committed human rights violations he will find his way on a power 5 team with thousands of dollars in his pocket and his mouth closed
@Messup7654 you underestimate good coaches and how they cherish a good locker room. This kids a cancer. A tumor. 5 star or no star. All that talent and no brains. Dudes a coward.
McClain didn't choose CU to work with Travis Hunter. Coach Prime made it clear shortly after he arrived CC wasn't going to work for him. Of course he was flip out the mouth most young people are. He needed developing. Coach didn't have time he's on the clock too. McClain should try a HBCU to get an opt to play. Don't forget. Coach Prime started at a HBCU because PWIs wouldn't get him a chance as a coach. Travis and Shedur's might be the first players under Coach Prime to be drafted during the big NFL Draft next year. Stay tuned. The best to McClain. He got caught up in the Prime hype and it just didn't work out.
@@yj2james he was being developed. If you’re cornerback, if you’re defensive player period who wants to make it to the NFL and you spend a year under Deion Sanders, Kevin Mathis, Dennis Thurman & Charles Kelly and you still choose to not take it serious that’s on you. Cormani is just one of 100+ players on a team and just one of thousands of collegiate football players. Nobody is going to baby him to get his act right

@@melissaporter5928 Isaiah Bolden too got drafted from jsu playing for coach Prime. Only reason Xavier Weaver got signed as UDFA rather than get drafted was because he was injured and couldn’t compete in the combine and was limited at his pro day
This is on top of missing practices, missing meetings, not watching film, hiding in the bathroom during practice, smoking weed.., all of this when allegedly receiving 20k a month ! A total waste of talent !
You see it all the time now. It used to be a few dudes a school. Now I feel like they're just pumping them out. So happy to be ignorant and you can't tell me nothing attitude
First of all let me say I’m born and raised in Dallas,Tx. I’m 44 so I was a teenager when the Prime time era was in full effect in our Super Bowl years here in Dallas. So I support everything Deion does. My son is at University of Texas at the moment so my take on Colorado isn’t biased. I’m a fan of Colorado bc I’m a Deion fan first. I remember when Prime started coaching high school. He did so much grass root work to make sure kids got to practice and learned the game even coming out of his own pocket for alotta expenditures. With all that said if coach prime got love for you and believes in you he’s gonna help you in every way he can. If you go watch the first well off media video where Cornani was at practice for the first time. Prime was correcting him on his technique and Cornani got in his feelings and prime asked “wait a minute, you’re not getting in your feelings are you?” And then he didn’t get his high school number #7 that got him in his feelings. And if everyone remembers coach prime never threw him under the bus the entire time the media was asking him”why isn’t Cormani starting..what’s up with Cornani” it wasn’t til like the 5-6 game til prime got tired of the questions about Cormani til he finally said “look he’s missing meetings, late to meetings, not watching film so he’s not prepared “ he challenged him publicly and when he shut down Brendan Rice after the USC game coach prime praised him publicly. Flat out he just didn’t wanna listen to prime. Travis , Shedeur, Shiloh and Cam-Silmon Craig listened and that worked out for them. Cormani is over mothered and under fathered and it shows bc he can’t take hard coaching/direction from a male figure..Talent can get you in the room but character will keep you in it.
So true! As a man it took me time growing up with my mom being a momas boy I wouldn’t listen when men tried being real with me and I regret I didn’t listen. Biggest one was you got your whole life to smoke weed if that’s what you want to do but while your young be young and do what young people do and have fun. Enjoy school and sports while you can do it because once it’s over the real world awaits.
His mother aint a man. I blame them coaches before prime who were probably scared to “upset” the star player. Prime held him accountable so Cormani ran
@@user-bd3zy6wo7lno but he is a idiot. Wouldnt be surprised if he does do something stupid. He one of those guys who would rob a gas station just for fun. Entitled
Lets be clear!! FILM IS YOUR RÉSUMÉ Your BIGGEST Advocate is film and your Head Coach. He burnt the bridge with a well respected HC. And the film...? Prime tried to protect Cormani's résumé (FILM). But overzealous CU FANS and MEDIA pressured Prime, week after week, to play Cormani when he clearly was not ready. Under the pressure, Prime played him and it was not good AT ALL. Now Cormani has this bad résumé (FILM), compounded with work ethic, and character issues. No one wants to take a risk on a headache, when you can select & develop your own headache out of High School. Best of Luck to Cormani. He'll still have a shot, it just will NEVER be the same opportunity presented to him by CU. P.S: Being the #1 CB recruit comes with HIGH EXPECTATIONS. As soon as you step on a college field all that #1 recruit talk disappears. High School is now irrelevant and 2 year old HS film isn't going to work, now. This is a "What have you done lately" association. Unfortunately, players enter the portal seeking something easier. However, the EXPECTATION never changes! The grass is RARELY greener on the other sides switching programs with little to bad film. I say this b/c coaches are willing to look pass the character issues, as majority of coaches think they have the magic formula to change a players attitude and focus. Prime could've saved this kid by NOT putting him on the field and allowing him get exposed, just to shut the media/fans up. Had that not happen, those 20 something D-1 schools would've thought Cormani is just developing considering they have a Top10 draft pick at CB already. But under the pressure, Prime played him. Which led to Cormani defending his play with excuses and ultimately throwing Prime under the bus. In return, Prime exposed all his habits. Now we know Cormani's work ethics, and we have the résumé (FILM) to confirm it. That's why he's at home.
I totally agree. I believe Coach Prime speech about you having to expire or expel some people in your life was directed at Cormani. All those people kept saying “ where’s Cornani” and “why isn’t he playing” thought they were helping Cormani but ultimately played a big part in his failure. And I suspect Cornani wasn’t being honest with them, when they asked “ why you not playing” which made them come to the internet and speed up his downfall. I wish things could have been different for the kid. It’s sad.
well respected HC... how many season has his HC coached at a P5 level. were they in the lowest P5 conference? what is his HC's record at the P5 level in the lowest conference?
lets be real if you take care of your business as a player no one can throw you under the bus. being the #1 recruit you know people are goin to ask why you not playing. When Nick Saben CALLS OUT A PLAYER we say nothing, we need to stop being soft with black young man and hold them accountable because the real world don't care. he had someone in his corner to help him become better but didn't want it. Imagine him and travis hunter out there together
at first, i assumed Coach Prime was just pushing his style of coaching too hard on a introverted, homesick kid. but then all the late to meetings, skipping film study, hiding in the bathroom to avoid practice, etc. come out. as well as the audacity to make that yt video after he leaves Colorado. Matt said it best, Coach Prime could've aired out everything to try to protect his image and integrity. but instead of being petty, Coach Prime continued speaking on his game, not his character. as it's said, the truth will eventually come out.
Sheesh... all the CU fans were telling you and everyone else that Prime was protecting him. Cormani saw all the comments saying he was being held back and thought he could jump in the portal. The haters made him commit career suicide and now haters are saying, "He never should have done that."
@@machiavellisprince5986 you can't actually blame anyone on the Internet. He is a grown ass man. Not some child that needs his mom to hold his hand. @@BlazingAce20 i get where you're coming from but i think you're taking his reply too literally. he's just saying that him seeing all those comments made his ego inflate even more to the point of being gaslit to transfer.
I doubt it, Cormani probably just wanted to take a shot at Deion for Coach Prime saying he was lazy and didn’t practice or watch film. But he vastly overestimated his importance, now he’s finding out he might not have a home
Matt Neely said that they would tell him he'll play, just come to practice on time, look at film, show up to meetings and no weed. He failed it all look for the video you'll see it.
Cormani’s High School coach has said that Cormani was hard to deal with in High School and said Coach Sanders could be good for him because he wasn’t going to take any of his sh!t and keep him check. That’s two different Coaches, HS and College that has mentioned a personality conflict with him.
The kid wasn't even bright enough to realize that a coach was punking him just to take a shot at another coach. Tells you all you need to know about this kid's functional literacy.

@user-bd3zy6wo7l Not sure if you played college sports, but they definitely do. Even if they don't like each other. He also didn't "poach" anyone. The kids choose. He only did what coaches have done since the beginning of time.

Many of the top schools are probably sitting back thankful they dodged a mullet. Being 5 star is one thing but if you're not coachable and posit yourself of little character, it becomes more hassle than its worth.
The nail appears to be his high school coach cosigning the rumored issues at CU. If that coach had stayed silent, then most people would have made this Prime's failure. Don't think the young man thought the HS was gonna speak up and someone guided him into thinking he had could pile on with the Prime haters and gain sympathy
When you enter the portal, you are now a free agent for lack of a better term. You must sign paperwork with your previous school compliance department that you are rescinding your academic and athletic scholarship. The two are no longer tied together if a coach cuts you from the team and pulls your athletic scholarship, you can still attend the school. Mature young men don’t say everything they think, don’t burn bridges. He may have to go back across the bridge. Coaches know that if a player talks negatively openly about one coach, the player would do the same with another coach.
Look at his page. He just hired an agent to represent him and signed to a sports agency. I’m trying not to think something is legitimately wrong but him but he’s legit had a plethora of resources to thrive but he does the complete opposite and makes moves for “click”.

He thought a lot of teams really hated Coach Prime which is not the case who ever told him to say playing for clicks was Bad Move but but Walmart still hiring.

What we are seeing here is the increasing stupidity of the youth today, and the ignorance of consequences of words and actions that is overwhelmingly prevalent in the youth today.
That’s part of the Coach Prime effect! People don’t realize the relationships and respect that Coach Prime has throughout the entire Football Community! Trust me it matters! 🤦🏾♂️
I can TRY to understand a young guy of his caliber feeling entitled and skipping classes. but as a football player, skipping meetings and disrespecting coaches is wild
What caliber? He was a highly overrated player in highschool and truly got exposed when got to Colorado and he knew it. Sanders didn't lie about the things he was doing.

“Be apart of a real and great program thats going to impact me and my best ability”😂😂 yeah i know what he was trying to say but maybe he should go to class once or twice.
As the saying goes, if this is what he says behind their back in public, imagine the private conversations. Coach Prime (and his staff) have friends in the NCAA and the NFL and if you're talking about him like this, while he's getting his kids the MOST exposure to the public while barely winning, imagine if/when we have a falling out. In addition, imagine the things he will tell people when they have a private conversation with him... He will be quick to blame everyone but himself.
I knew he was going to be a problem from the get when he did not join the team workouts at the beginning. He has a big maturity issue, he better grow up asap and whoever takes him he better work hard and go to and pass his classes.
He's immature & extremely arrogant. He's clearly used to getting his way with coaches, but Prime ain't bending or breaking. He's constantly reiterated this one thing: The Standard Is The Standard. Rise to that standard, or hit the portal. Prime ain't changin' up for one player who wants to have it his way. Most coaches have to question why an elite CB would NOT be all in on learning from the G.O.A.T. of the position? Guys who weren't built like that left, but Cormani is acting like a spoiled kid.
No he did not think clearly…CU’s Coach Prime might be putting the Buffs on the map, yes a few coaches talked of style not being the conventional way. Still if you talk down on a coach, you get roasted .
Cormani was being shady before he even posted the video. He posted that graphic when he was going in the transfer portal only thanking Coach Livingston. I'm sure not only Coach Prime but all of the men that are apart of that program has tried to help him in some way and NONE of them were able to get through to him. I wish him the best! He will look back at this decision and wish he had done things differently.
Didn’t help that his legendary HS coach spilled the beans on him. All 5 Star players are not 5 Star players….Lack luster interest from only USF, UCF, and Memphis….Leave that Wacky Weed alone.
The high schools that pamper these guys and allow them to act like fools in high school are partially to blame. I understand that winning high school football games is important and depends on the players, but allowing them to run amok during high school simply because they can play football well...., this is the result. And once they hit college, there are players there just as talented so it then comes down to attitude.
Misguided young man who has talent yet maturity in understanding his gift is why he made $30k per month while at CU. Won’t follow policy’s and didn’t develop in the system. Jumped on the media flow of why players leave, thinking it would elevate him. Then and I question why he took shots directly at Coach Prime and his players. Never Bite The Hand That Feeds You, Don’t take shots when you are the problem!
I am sure coaches from other teams called Dieon Sanders about Cormani. Coach Prime will not talk bad about anyone ever, BUT when asked he will tell the truth!
Cormani McClain, like basketball star Ja Morant, keeps making bad choices that hurt himself, like ignoring good advice which led Morant to troubles with the league. Similarly, it seems Cormani is struggling with entitlement issues that are hurting his football career. While there's still a chance for him to improve, it might be too late to save his college football career. Leaving him stuck in the transfer portal might actually be a good opportunity for him to think about his mistakes and make positive changes in his life, but he needs to humble himself and leave the weed-smoking in the past.
He will be playing with a complete program soon, as his butt get tired of sitting at home crying😭😭😭😭😥😥😰😰😭😭😥😰we will be lucky to hear him talked about again… he assumed other coaches hated Coach Prime so much, he may jump in PW5, not!
Yea, you can see all he is good at is football. Now he is playing against dudes with just as much skill. He is not made for the mental aspect of the sport. He can’t hide behind his mom anymore.
Matt, you TOTALLY NAILED this commentary!! GREAT JOB!! STUPIDITY AND ARROGANCE will get you EVERY TIME!!! You have to work when you go to college. NOW HE KNOWS ....
I called this one big time from the beginning the sad part is the one that really should suffer the biggest punishment is the coach that was so Bush League and Petty jealous that he was willing to use this kid that was in trouble all to take a bush League shot at another coach. Dan Lanning will for ever be the biggest royal piece of sh*t.
Before he left he didn’t want to be on social media and avoid cameras now you sitting answer questions throwing shade I hope he finds some place that will develop his talent and maturity.. because the next level there will be more cameras and more accountability
He will be some where big again but the money he was bringing in won't be available to him and probably why he hasn't landed anywhere yet can't get the same bag or a bigger one to land. He literally is going to have to "work" for it. And now it's out he doesn't have the work ethic to secure the bag he once got for nothing.
He acting like Dieon is a peon! 5 star high recruit 😂😂 vs Hall of Famer 😂 Coaches don’t even have to call Deion, they can see his character loud and clear!
Not playing for clicks is like saying you're not playing to be seen. Then what are you playing for if you're not playing to be seen? Even when that weird Oregon coach said something about not playing for clicks, it was super off. Because what are you all playing for with 100 different jerseys? Lol
He says he doesn’t want to play for clicks… then posts that for clicks? We really live in a “anything for views” he thought he was helping himself lol. People don’t hate Dion… they may not like the hype and attention he gets but they don’t hate Dion.
From the very beginning this kid was acting weird. He was not on campus when he was supposed to be for some reason, everyone else had arrived and he was still in Florida with his mommy. His first day of workouts he got sick from being out of condition and the altitude in Boulder. He was late for everything, not taking school seriously, hiding in the bathroom to avoid drills he didn't like doing etc. Rumors are that he was smoking weed all the time as well. I don't know of any football programs that are going to be ok with that kind of BS. I hope he snaps out of it and takes advantage of this tiny window of opportunity before it slams shut on him.
