True story from Yellowstone Park - A guy was taking pictures of a bison that was lying down. He got closer and closer to the bison, but then our human photographer decided he wanted a picture of the bison standing. He gave the bison a kick. The bison lifted his massive head while springing to his feet. The human felt only a moment of pain as his internal organs were ruptured in an instant. Please, don’t be an idiot!
It’s impossible to believe how stupid these people … to NOT get in your in car. 😳. You put yours and your children’s lives at risk. Best comment I read here was … they have no idea how much danger they are in. Unreal.
The perfect example of how idiots get destroyed by bison. You put yourself in danger, you allowed your family to be in danger and then you even ignored the bison's warnings. Glad none of you were injured.
I lived near the park back in 1980. I saw so many tourists get hurt by not only bison, but also by elk. This family needs to be more careful. Death is instantaneous.
I was tent camping in Yellowstone a few years back. It started snowing heavily in the middle of the night and a herd of bison crowded around my entire tent. Some were even pushing and rubbing on it. Talk about worried! 😖 I couldn’t even open the flap to get to my truck because I was surrounded. I would have had to climb over them to get out. 🤣
As soon as I saw the calf, I said, "Oh. No". Any wild mother animal can be aggressive, because she thinks she's protecting her young. You'all should have been in the car.
@ No! For them its all about survival. If they feel they are in any danger, they will fight. Humans should respect them FIRST, then more than likely, u will get the same "respect". Also, humans have done nothing but disrespect the only home we have (earth). We are the only living species that voluntarily ruin, destroy, & disrespect mother nature & all she has to offer. Most humans dont live for survival, for the bare necessities, for the simple things. Most humans dont use the land for food, healing, etc. Humans are destroying this beautiful earth, in turn wiping out animals & other species including other humans. Its a shame. Most humans are plain DISRESPECTFUL
When bison are in rut they ARE so aggressive! I truly thought one bull was thinking about goring the car if he caught a glimpse of his own reflection... Glad he didnt!
@@alphonsozorro7952 True story. Bisons do what Bisons will. E.g. just grazing etc. and walking along. As human if you let them do their thing peacefully and not provoke anything all will be alright.
That big boy at 1:58 was the dominant bull. He was showing you his muscle and what you would be messing with when he showed you his side view. You people are so fortunate that you didn't get trampled. Buffalo have nasty, nasty tempers.
I know you posted this 2 years ago, but you are so right about that girl complaining that a bison was pooping in their camp sight. That girl needs a reality check.
watching this makes me so angry. how can people be so ignorant. Retreat to your car until they pass? The bison will get blamed if they end up charging but these people are the ones to blame. Should be given a hefty fine
Wow, the fact that none of them are in their car is baffling. Not only are they putting their lives n danger but also the animals when they get killed for being a wild animal.
proof that pilgrims go camping. Ill bet they have never seen a buffalo turn over a car, ..with people inside. I have. And these are unpredictable critters. I have a friend who raised a buffalo from a small calf. Gentle as a dog. Until he was 9mo old. Then he got playful. And at any time would go from calm and easy to instantly wide ass open!! He gored a couple of horses, tore down fences, destroyed gates, and wrecked two pickups. Not all at once of course but within a year and a half. If a lifetime cattleman couldnt foresee this, how can a tourist? Best to stay in the vehicle and dont make any sudden moves or loud sounds. You could set off the whole herd and get someone killed.
No dout . I have a friend that raised them yrs ago here in ky . Even being raised in such a manner you did not mess with them . If they want to go there was literally no stopping them .
@@daniehollen4183 You never do that! He going be a male for the rest of his life. No bison ranch here in Oklahoma changes the sex of a male bull. Not good. Can kill them.
Just imagine if his herd passed through at night, while the campers were sleeping. Talk about nightmares. My first summer as an employee (1985), I went tent camping with other employees at the Tower Falls campground. Th next morning, close to our tent, was a gutted out porcupine. I did sleep through that encounter!
have a big guy sits in my chair,,, is a buffalo rancher ,, says he goes out and askes them everyday "Please don't kill me today !" they're NOT domesticated cattle. these ppl are taking a huge risk being this close and chatting it up like it's a carnival ... Yikes! But Glorious creatures and a really wonderful share. glad no one got hurt here.
These people are lucky all the bison did was poop next to their tent. At any moment any of these giants could gore you & send you to the hospital or an early grave. They're are wild animals, not cattle! In fact I've met some grumpy cows when I was glad there was a fence between us! Smart people would be in the car!!
Don't mind us, just passing through, but taking time to check out your car! I'm guessing that this was a little bit closer then you would have preferred! But you have to admit, this was quite a experience!
I’ve seen hand raised and bottle fed bison being ornery hook an 1800lb cow bison and disembowel her in about 3 seconds just because she was in his way. These people are nuts.
Yup, you can take the bison out of the wild but, you can't take the wild out of the bison. I don't think people realize, how guickly they can move when they want.
I don't know what else the Tourists could have done. Their campsite was in the path of bison. The best thing to do is NOT to panic, stay calm, stay out of the way. When you camp at Yellowstone, I'm sure you are told what to do in this kind of event. Sounds like they chose the best. And filming is not all the horrendous or out of line. Shouting and panicking is.
I was in this area last year and never saw one Forest Ranger! One should be assigned to ticket any one who gets out of their cars or approaches these animals. No, instead there are plans to eliminate part of the herd.
as if they've never seen poop? Taking pictures and video of it. All they need to do is look in their own toilet after they go and take a picture of it. Sad.
Bison pie, well, at least you know what he thinks about you ! but I have to say you have more balls then I have, standing in the middle of that Motley Crue.
Extremely dangerous. They...are...NOT...cows!!! Very VERY dangerous animals. Like getting into a bull ring. You guys were just incredibly lucky that you did not all die!😳😱🙄
“Bison are among the most dangerous animals encountered by visitors to the various North American National Parks and WILL attack humans if provoked.” - American Bison - Wikipedia
Almost seems like they were in the midst of packing or something and the herd just rolled right through, lol. Don't run, don't make noise, don't jump around into the car, just stay still I would think
City people acting stupid once again its not their camp site its the animals of Yellowstone and you are a visitor and you take changes camping in a tent.
WoW I’m sure that was a awesome exsperiance but that’s like standing with your family in front of a moving train . At least mom and some others had since to get in there cars ect.
NEVER , NEVER, NEVER do this! These people filming are in horrible danger! NEVER get out of your vehicle and even then, you are NOT safe this close! People are gored constantly, this is just stupidity! Signs are Everywhere in the Park, Bison CHARGE people and gore with their horns. NEVER do this!
