I love how Bisping managed to control his pace for the full 9 mins. He mastered the dialogue from start to end with no let up and leaving plenty in the gas tank. Would love to see him in a 25 minute discourse for the championship.

The weight cut question is an interesting one. Does Khamzat need a massive weight advantage on fight night to look as good as he typically does? His fight against someone like Usman suggests he does..
You had some awesome cardio Bisping. You were always smart about training endurance, because we know that once gassed our weapons are pretty much useless. Khamzat would be smart to train cardio, if not, he is taking a risk.
Its crazy hard to guess who's gonna win, perhaps khamzat should win because hes a new generation, but r.w seems hungry too, even r.w is a veteran in the sport but he's not slow down yet, maybe this fight gonna end with decisions

Maybe if that fight was 5 rounds his approach would have been different , is no point fighting a 3 rounds fight, ending it with plenty of gas in the tank and ending losing it . 🤷🏻♂️
I don't think it's fair to call him the best first round fighter when his plan seems to be win the first round and if not, survive the rest. Most of the better fighters, hope to win in the first round but there main goal is to win at any time it's possible. If all the better fighters are pacing themselves and measuring their opponents the first minute or the first round, then you can't compare Khamzat to them.
Khamzat has the fastest record for 3 fights in modern ufc history (66days) , hes undefeated with last 4 wins being USMAN > HOLLAND > JINGLIANG > BURNS ... with literally 1 moment in all 4 of those fights he looked like he was in trouble... he will be champion by next summer , mark this post. i know chimaev came into the ufc and did great at the start. but him fighting usman and burns they where super close fights. And robert is an unreal fighter and he good everywhere. I think hes going to win.
Unless there is truly, no conspiracy of why he missed weight against Nate Diaz, then we know the answer. No, this guy doesn’t have the toughness it takes to keep going. He had the biggest fight of his career and blew it, couldn’t make weight.
