Thank you!!! I only knew how to clean/take apart my Kirby vacuum. I've cleaned our CleanView I don't know how many times, but have had pressure issues. I didn't know of other filters. Jeez Louise.. thank you for your help!!!
Whenever motors sound like that, its usually either the fan is caked with debris, and that's putting the fan off balance and causing a rattle, or the dust has dried out the bearings, which would also cause a similar rattle and noise. Either way, while it is fixable, most would just change the motor as a whole assembly, especially if you didn't have the tools necessary to disassemble the motor. In the 15 years I've been repairing these cleanviews, I've always changed the motor, either from a new one or a donor machine like what you did here. It's a sad state of affairs when they sound that bad, you know the poor machine was neglected. Excellent video!
Hi great tips. My vacuum is blowing dust and smells burnt when it turns on what do you think is wrong with it. I disassembled it cleaned. It washed everything I did not change the belt. I clean the brush I clean the filter sponge. Any tips
i took the tank off of my parent's pet hair eraser turbo and i'm having a hard time putting the thing back on, how do i safely put it back in place? any suggestions?
Does the wheel assembly have a spring like other models? My height adjustment doesn't seem to be working and the vacuum sucks up the rug on all settings (height too low). Model 9595-C, wheel assembly looks identical.
That vacuum doesn't even look five years old and it already sounds like that. I swear to goodness, some people are so lazy and do not take care of their vacuums. Meanwhile, my vacuum has been running well for over 10 years now, with minor issues. It makes no sense.
