I tested both the Bissell Mulitsurface Formula and the Sanitize Formula in my Crosswave Pet Pro with Petri dishes and sterile swabs to see how well they remove bacteria from my floor.

I prefer to use lysol multi purpose concentrate,because lysol kills more bacteria and and should be safe to use in the machine,also I've found that the lysol removes more dirt with less effort in the machine.

Thanks for testing this! Looks like the bacterial one may even be a little worse but definitely not better like you would expect. Good to know about the scents as well; when I get one of these machines I may go with the Sanitize formula anyway due to how you describe the scents.

Yes I agree, both solutions did a good job at removing bacteria on the floor. I do like the Sanitize scent better, the good thing is the scent for both formulas doesn't linger! Thanks for watching!

i just found your channel and i'm obsessed. can you do a lysol spray video for hard surfaces like doorknobs, light switches and kid's toys? thats what i use mine for but your couch cleaning video makes me feel like it's not working like i think it is!

Thank you for testing this!!! I am probably going to stick with the multipurpose formula! I like the scent better. Would love to see how it cleans with just water or water/vinegar.

thank you very much. i wanna learn your idea you have been using it. Does it worth money? I mean do you say it ok to use but really no need to buy ? or do you say i m glad that i ve bought it. Which one is easier ,to use a regular mopping thing or using this machine (if we think the cleaning prosedure of the bissell) do u still say i prefer using bissell to regular mop?

I LOVE my crosswave, I did a video where I reviewed it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jTqC-eJKOyQ.html I wish I had purchased it sooner. It does require more extensive "clean out" when I am done using it, that a mop just doesn't require. But for me it is way better than mopping. I find mopping just mixes the dirty and clean water too much unless you have the O'Cedar Spin mop ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cOJLvxwEy-E.html I strongly prefer the Crosswave to a regular mop and I like the O'Cedar spin mop way more than a regular mop/bucket. For me, the best part about the Crosswave is that it vacuums up crumbs and dirt while mopping.. so I don't have to sweep, then mop. I have a shoulder injury so sometimes doing both is just too much on my arm. Good luck with your decision!

Can we use pine sol cleaner in Bissell for replacement to sanitizer?

I wouldn't put anything in the cleaner tank except for water and Bissell Formula. You could reach out and ask Bissell customer service, but I think they would suggest nothing except for their formula.

@@FieldOfFocus I know that there are different brands, but we have a hypochlorous acid generator, so if you could test that type of acid as well that would be great. No pressure :-)

@@chrishayden5922 The Force of Nature is an Electrolyzer and concentrated capsules with Salt, water & vinegar, so one makes a batch and it lasts 2 weeks. I don't know of other hypoclorous acid generators so if you have a link to one I will look at it. I do have about 250 viewer suggestions, so not sure how quickly I could get to another hypoclourous acid test, but I would love to have look at another brand!
