Week 2: Bisu (P) ▶ NaDa (T)
Week 3: Bisu (P) ▶ DarkElf (T)
Week 4: Hwasin (T) ▶ NaDa (T)
Week 5: Hwasin (T) vs Bisu (P)
Week 6: DarkElf (T) vs NaDa (T)
Even after 5 weeks in the Group Stage, Darkelf(T) and NaDa(T) failed to win a single match, lost twice, and were both sent to the ODT. Bisu(P) and Hwasin(T) on the other hand have won both their matches at 2-0, and automatically advanced into Elite Eight.

Soooo, this is the famous Bisu's Scouts game. I've been looking for it for some time now. I love these unusual strategies. Ok, I have to say though, that was humiliating to the limit. Bisu played great in this game, really really liked it. No wonder it has so many 5 stars ratings.

They faced off before in GomTV Season 1 MSL, with Bisu winning. Their rivalry really heated up in Daum OSL though, because Bisu called Hwasin his "insurance policy" during the group drawing.

Scouts are some of the best humiliation units though along with firebats for Terran vs Protoss or Terran matches.

COMON people, no-one uses scouts, he did it for the fans :P. You heard people's reactions when they saw the first scout, they were cheering! Anyway, they could be used to quickly take out science vessels which Hwasin should have been using to detect all the Dark Templar that Bisu was using. BISU!

mass firebat is humiliating but one or two firebats are very useful. For example, when p walls in with pylon in the expansion, a terran can float rax and make firebat there and attack probes. Due to splash damage and its damage type, it is very effective in harassing probes. Of course, it is useless against terran... cuz of uber scv hit point. Anyways, my point is, SCOUT IS THE ONE OF A KIND UNIT

Scouts are too specialized a unit for them to see the light of day. They are Capital Ship hunters (Carriers and BC's - arguably also Guardians). And even at that, they are very expensive. Most of the time you're better off going with either mind-control or storms, a much more cost-effective tactic (if harder to pull off).

Most pros merge their mana depleted High Templars so they can still prove combat useful. Scouts were there as a joke, I doubt the usage of Scouts has won someone the game often, except for that Stove tactic.

@hansschmidt corsairs are better for hunting lift off buildings since they're faster while you need a fleet beacon and upgrade to increase scout speed Scouts are useless since it requires upgrades and it's expensive, carriers are better for air to ground

Two questions: 1. Does Hwasin feel bitch-slapped from having scouts unleashed on him? 2. Can we change the scouts' cost, damage or something so that they're actually usable? How about 1 armor and 12 ground damage..

Producing Scouts is not a bad manner, since it's typical for terran players like Nada to not give up even when knowing that the game is completely lost. They prolong the game 10-15 minutes just because they can lift all their buildings and spread them out all over the map; that's why the Scouts are useful. So stop criticising Bisu and overseeing the fact that Hwasin should have resigned long before.

i thought it was a no air game at first besides shuttles and dropships, theres no excuse to building a massive offense of ground units with absolutely no air defense, that was pretty noobish imo

dude, real strategist would own everyone in such games if there were no "mechanical" parts of the game like micro and ect. which needs skill in hand, not in mind :)

StarCraft is pretty low on useless units, compared to other RTS games, but scouts... What Bisu should have done was fly 20 scouts over Hwasin's base in "GG" formation.

noobish my ass. they don't got money. tanx cost 150 100. gols cost 100 50. where's the gas gonna come from? its either tanx or gols, and without tanx. terrans sux, toss will simply walk over them. only when u have an advantage then you get aa. and against toss, aa is only for arbs and carriers.
