People who think he was stupid have no idea what he has done here. His pizza buy was a test to prove that bitcoin can have value. He purchased pizza with something that was practically worthless for 1x bitcoin at the time (estimations were just thrown out that each coin may be given a value of around half a cent as computer power was involved with them coming into existance) ie cheap mining/ high rewards when it was new. He proved that day how bitcoin can have value to it. He believes in the technology, proved it and OBVIOUSLY kept a massive amount if he believed in the tech, as he just bought pizza with it and would have continued bitcoin mining for sure. He has stated that he has absolutely no regrets, because he was right and he knows it has given him fame.
