If you wanna go only in CSE, then go for nit, but if any such thing is not from your side, choose BITS. All the best.

Let’s consider that by the third round, I get Goa ECE, but I still want to wait for my up gradation to Pilani EIE. I wait till the 4th round and still don’t get Pilani, will I still get the Goa ECE seat?( I have paid all the fees time to time)

It's much harder to get a good CGPA in Goa campus, as the grading there is the toughest of all the three. So, if you are looking for a dual degree, you must choose Pilani campus.

If I get a particular branch(example-mechanical engineering in first iteration) In Hyderabad campus and I apply for bits Pilani Pilani campus for mechanical engineering and if I don’t get the seat in Pilani campus,will I get the same mechanical engineering seat in Hyderabad campus (which I kept as a second preference in second iteration) will I get the same mechanical engineering seat after 6 iteration??

At Goa and Hyderabad, you can easily get EEE or ENI or may be ECE even .

Sir I am prioritizing dual at goa/hyd over Pilani as cutoff for cs are low there and even though its tougher to get higher cgpa in goa/hyd I was told by a bits goa student that it's only 0.2 more difficult on avg. Is that true?

Friend I don't have so much of insider data, about Goa and Hyderabad campus. But all I can say is, don't go by one person's opinion on anything. Try to look for more people who are there at Goa and take their opinion on this. This will allow you to gain more clarity and take the best decision for yourself. Good luck 👍

I have a doubt that if someone score between 310 - 330marks, one is surely not gonna get CS in any of the BITS campus.Since you said that all lower preference will be rejected, but if the student is interested in the CSE programme how should be the student's preference so that if he does not get CSE in any campus so he can opt For Msc(hon.) dual degree?

You don't need to worry much as 11th syllabus comprises just around 30% of the total paper...focus first on completing the syllabus from 12th, with important topics like Integration, D.E., Electrostatics, etc...and coming on to the 11th syllabus, I have a video called "100 DAYS TIME TABLE FOR BITSAT", where I have given you a time table for revising the 11th Syllabus, with high weightage topics on the top priority...have a look into that...and follow it, you will be able to complete the 11th syllabus by April end..all the best

Hello sir , I'm Ashwin. I scored 307 marks in bits and got bits hyd civil in my 1st iteration. This was my last preference. For getting into 2nd iteration I need to pay INR 2 lac on or before 28th June 5pm. If I enter the next round is it compulsory for me to complete the whole rounds ? ( Till I get my highest preference) and also , what can be the tentative dates of the iteration rounds 2,3, 4 ?? 2 is on July 1 what about rounds 3 and 4 ?

Friend you can withdraw after the 4th round. And the amount which you will submit, will get returned, after deducting a certain small amount. Moreover, the dates for further rounds will be declared in the next round only. For 3rd round, dates will be told in 2nd itself. Good luck 👍

Sir , last year PILANI mechanical's cutoff was 313 in the last round. My score is 307. Is there any chance to get PILANI mechanical? PILANI mechanical was my 5th preference. ( Preference 1-4 is almost impossible for me to get )..,in iteration 1 I got my 13th preference.

Yes, I think you should get B.Pharma at Pilani campus. I can't say about the first iteration, but according to the previous year statistics, you would get it . The pharmacy department is very good at BITS, and as far as I know, it will be worth it . But to be on a safer side, I think you should contact someone, who is actually doing it there. For it, you can write your query on BITSAT QUERIES, a facebook page for the help of aspirants. Good luck

Himanshu, to be very Frank, nobody knows their branch if interest. It will be only when you study a branch, you got o know about its plus and minus. But for the time being, as we have to take a decision, we need to rule out some branches based on something. Here, we can exploit your high marks, to get a branch which will ensure at least a good package or a god job in future. We can't plan anything other than this. And, once in college you figure out what is your rel passion and real calling, you can easily give that branch the desired direction. So, I would suggest you to aim for ENI pilani. 2 reasons. Firstly, CSE, EEE, ENI students all are treated almost equally by majority companies and thus can sit in the placements if CSE Companies. And secondly, even if you want to switch to some other branch, may be CSE as most students do, you have an option to take the desired elective courses which are open to you, and get yourself a profile similar to that if a CSE guy. But it all depends on you. You can take some electronics related branch in Goa and Hyderabad even. So,take your decision judiciously. It's very simple and don't get confused again and again. YOU decide. Don't go behind what others are telling because everyone will say something different. And consequently you will be in a great dilemma. So, chose YOUR SELF. All the best.

Hello Nandan. Yes the options are there, but are open only in the last round of counselling, once you report to the campus. There, you are given a choice to whether be in the same campus, where you have reported to, I.e. slide I think, or keep Float, I.e. wait for one more round , so that if your branch changes to some other college, you can go to there.

Really very useful video sir. Just one doubt if someone(with consider 285 score) has filled Msc.phy at first priority and the other has filled Msc phy at 3rd or 4th priority(with 288 score) then will the first one get the Msc. First or the second one will get it first?

Balram, you just have to fill your branches in decreasing order of priority . For example, Cse pilani, cse Goa, cse Hyderabad, and so on in the order in which you want to take the branch. The highest preferred branch must be at the top. So if you don't want any Msc branch, it's simple, just neglect writing the names of the Msc branches. Thats it. Arrange the rest of the engineering branches in order of your priority and your preferences are filled.

Hello Bhaiya, a great informative video! I got 238 marks and got little hope by you pointing out the fact that I may stand a chance after the 4th round of Iteration. Do you have any previous year stats which can help me decide if I should carry on after the 4th (or 5th) round and how much has the cutoff fallen in previous year counseling process(in terms of marks) in the 4th round

Actually the actual cutoffs aren't revealed by the college but usually the drop in them, ranges from 2 to 10 marks, at max. But at your score, the chances are very very less for any branch, except bioscience. So, I think you should atleast be in the counselling till the 4th round, and then decide according to the then approximate cutoffs, whether you want to withdraw or not.

Hello friend, for your BITSAT score of 340, you might get CSE at Hyderabad but that also is not too sure as of now. So then, we will have just one option left.i.e. of dual degree, if you are very much obsessed about CSE. You can go for it, in PILANI campus. Or, you can try for some other branches in old IITs, which you will easily get. Good luck 👍

I will surely make a video on that...But currently I am focusing on counselling process and cutoffs, as many people are mailing and requesting me for that. But for you, till then, I have some plan. You just figure out what are your weak areas in chemistry...And try to do those topics from NCERT only. Try to write all the important formula and reactions, etc. In some copy or notebook, so that it becomes easier for you to revise all the bulky things, in one go. Friend, as of now, according to the feedbacks of the aspirants, the cutoffs will increase a little bit. So, you can expect economics at Pilani to be around 315.. But it may vary very wildly, depending upon the choice filling of candidates and josaa counseling. Good luck 👍

1. Hi friend, I think you would get Physics. According to the last year's cutoff, it was locked at 288 only. So, your chances of getting it is almost 100%. But, in case you won't get it , then you will 100% get Chemical. That is for SURE.

Yes definitely, but transfer like this to CSE is very difficult and also depends on a lot many factors. Firstly, you.need a CGPA of atleast 9.9, which isn't easy to score in BITS. Moreover, of you are able to score it, then also there is NO SURITY that you will be promoted to CSE. Good luck 👍
