Wow! Best how to I've seen on Bixby. I got my S9+ a couple weeks ago and while I've used Samsung for years, your tutorials were excellent! With Bixby, I wasn't planning on even trying it, now I certainly will. Way more to it than I thought and worth getting Bixby going. Thanks!

I was so intimidated by Bixby and pressed for time to learn it. I just kept using google Because it seemed easier. Now that I’ve watched your video I realize that just accessing google was an extra step. Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I can’t wait to raise my score.

Hi I have only just had a note 8 and I am not that good with technical stuff, because I am 56 and have very bad arthritis, but when I had this phone Bixby came up and then (because I knew nothing about it) I looked on RU-vid and my goodness what a brilliant thing to have on your phone. I loved your video, because you made it look so simple and clear easy instructions, so thanks for sharing, look forward to seeing more of your videos and I will practice with my Bixby

I think it would be neat to create a video on setting up/using Bixby for common things needed while driving! Things like, making calls, reading out/sending texts, controlling music functions (stop/start/volume, etc...), operating a navigator package (Google Maps or Waze).... Just a sort of "focus video" on this kind of thing....

Well... just to add a little justification... so many communities are adopting and enforcing "hands free" ordinances that allow NO NON-TRIVIAL TOUCHING of the phone beyond just hitting a "home button" to wake it up. It would really be handy to have a little help understanding how Bixby might help establish a "phone environment" that was supportive of these laws to "make us all safer". Again, just a thought......

I like to tell people that the major difference between Bixby and the Google assistant is that Bixby allows me do anything on my phone without touching it. While the Google assistant helps me do and find things on the web.

ThreesomeInk, Bixby can search the web. However, when it searches the web it uses the Google search engine anyway. So, I just use the Google assistant for web searching directly.

Bixby can search the web for you when you ask. However, it uses the google search engine when it does, and I like google's lay out better than Bixby's when it does search. So, if Bixby is going to use Google when it searches, why not just ask Google to do it directly.

I also like the "Quick Commands" for strings of tasks. Like a morning routine or a bedtime routine. I even have a routine for going into a movie theater. Have you done a video about QC's?

I use a "good night" routine that; reads my schedule for the next day, sets an alarm, turns down the screen brightness, sets my call volume to vibrate, closes all my apps, looks for updates, then locks the phone. My "wake up routine " tells me good morning, the time, reads my schedule, resets my screen brightness, and my ringer volume. I also use a "movie mode" and a " work mode".

Just switched up to a smartphone, entry level but to a neophyte coming from a simple flip phone it's amazing. The free phone Galaxy J3v Prime came with Bixby! Haven't enabled it yet, intimidated by the mile long "terms of agreement" and spooling up on the basic functions of the phone.

I use it for the 'briefing' in Alarms, however it won't give me the weather, just time and headlines...sometimes. and when it does work it says "hey bear" then the time etc. What is that abt? Bear?

Just received a full update (July 2019) and now I have lost most of the features you have in this vid. Any idea how to get them back with this new, unimproved version? FE, I do not have the many options I had in settings anymore, don't have 'read aloud', 'XP animation', 'Ranking', 'Voice apps and services' and so on and so forth. Also Bixby doesn't seem to recognize anything I say when using a second or a thrid language (selected in phone setting/input lang. of course). Any idea?

I guess the thing I've never understood about verbal commands is why you'd be okay with everyone around you knowing exactly what you're doing on your phone. Is that awkwardness really worth the convenience of saving a few taps? It seems like the exact reason that Google Glass failed.
