Hobbyking's Bixler 2 at Whittier Narrows RC Park.
It had rained the day before and the air was extra clean. Whittier Narrows park is beautiful but on a stellar day like this it was even more special.
The wind was kicking up and most pilots had packed it in for the day. I decided to give it one last go before calling it a day.
The Bixler 2 is a gentle 5 channel plane. On this day I was flying with a Turnigy 3S 4000mAh battery It still wasn't enough nose weight.
