god i lovee this interview, great to hear her talk about her art and soul more than some questions about iceland and her “weirdness”

This was a good interviewer. When she interviewed Radiohead, you could tell Thom was impressed with her asking good questions. It's a shame we don't have more interviews like this with Bjork that go more into detail about her artistic vision rather than typical questions about her being 'unusual'.

In some interviews she's very talkative and aggressive - like saying Philip Glass is "crap"; and then in others, she's blushing and stammering and not meeting anyone's eyes - like she was a sheltered schoolgirl. She definitely is an extremely complex individual.

She's true to her emotions and not trying to play a character that has always the same personality.

I have noticed this over the years as well. It's pretty neat and interesting. I don't see this kind of "range" in many people--especially celebrities.

I am Icelandic and she seems normal to me. Us icelanders or icelandic people are very very honest with our emotions and also extremely private. Asking personal questions to icelanders is very rude, especially when you are not a good friend or family, and it takes 10 years minimum to become true friends for us. When we are happy it shows and when we are pissed it shows just as well. That's because as kids we are raised in a way to not destroy our psyche and control our emotion but just destroy our ego, while i noticed in the rest of southern Europe (anything bellow Sweden) and in America people are raised to control their emotions, not let them show but also with a massive ego, which is the opposite of us. It is funny because as Scandinavians we are as close as can be to western culture but in terms of personality, we couldn't be further in terms of behaviour. I have travelled all over the world with many icelandic friends and met icelandic people in many countries and strangely outside Iceland we feel closer to people from countries like Japan, or the Middle East, or Eastern Europe, rather than any country influenced by american or western european culture where egos are way to big for us to feel comfortable with.

love her idea of "serving music" and losing the ego in the process :3

She is the most down to earth star in the industry, she actually said once that people screaming for a three second autograph makes her uncomfortable, not being present with fans, but the fact someone thinks so little of themselves to be happy with a scribble on a piece of paper from someone who makes songs. Bless her, she's great, and if her down to earth attitude makes her "weird", then we need more "weirdo's" and less drama in music! ❤

Did anyone see the weird guy in the audience at 23:12 staring at Björk right after she drank and giving her a kiss while watching himself on the screen?

Horrible movie. You managed to completely upset us. I'm sorry that I saw such a movie Dancer in... Are those repeated scenes, weak dialogues and those embarrassing fake dances, don't you think they are disturbing? That's what that movie did, it offended us. I hope not to see such films again, with such sick ideas. Shame on the director who made such scenes and those who had such ideas in the script.
