Girls at this age are just more technically aware. At tournaments, they are sometimes older and have a bit more maturity going into the tournament then boys. They listen really well. Where boys, just do their own thing and will fight against advice. I always tell my sons that girls are the most dangerous to grapple with on the mat. They are calm and technically sound. However, once boys hit about 16 or 17, and boys are a tad more technically sound + add on some muscle, the strength factor does matter. Boys just get harder, not impossible, but harder to tap. They start understanding the game a bit more and start absorbing just as well as girls. Either way, she is a good practitioner and their is no shame in losing to a girl or boy. It's about your jiu-jitsu. You just take it as a learning experience and move on. Good Match! Deffinitly put in the hand shakes and hugs at the end.
She's not a 'Baby girl ' she's a future bjj champion....fantastic watching her fight ..... and bjj is far better for the body than karate tkd or judo ..... and so effective
