I was there for this but weirdly I remember the show with open skies and beaming sunlight, as if were mid afternoon, not sunset! Strange how memory plays tricks!
I got an awesome nostalgia kick watching this . I could actually put myself there . I could feel the weather and smell the clean air of it being dusk . No cell phones . Anxiety was low . No mass shooting everyday . The last of the good years were the 90s.
I was there! 😁 It was a boiling hot and dessert dry weekend. I think it only rained during Massive Attack at the Pyramid Stage, before The Levellers, and we all cheered. It was so hot in the lovely friendly jumping crowd. Such an awesome line up that year! Such an awesome experience! I was just 14 and I'm so aware of how lucky I was to experience that festival in that era of no phone cameras, just really absorbing every moment and meeting random ppl in an organic flow. All my favourite bands were there and a ton more that later were added to my collection. So lucky. 🤗
Bjork Reykjavik concert 1999 is my favorite.. hard to wrap my mind around.. but saw her with The Sugarcubes at Tommy's in Deep Ellum / Dallas TX in Sept 1988 with about 50 people there.. me and my friend about 20 feet away .. as was everyone.. she was amazing as always. In Nov 1988 they were on Saturday Night Live with Matthew Broderick hosting.. that tripped me out having seen them several weeks before with 50 people.
Wow - flashback! I don't think Human Behavior is here at the start though. Think it starts w/ "One Day". Human Behaviour would have been before that per setlist.fm.
Toll isse drauf, die gute Björk - außerdem sind One Day + Venus As A Boy (zusammen mit 'Play Dead') meine Lieblingssongs von ihr - alles super, also! Schade, dass sie danach immer 'Kunstiger' wurde ....
@@terryveroseabadeer- google tells me that the Spanish word "artistica" means "künstlerisch" in German, but I did neither mean nor write ""künstlerisch" - I wrote "kunstig", and that is a word I invented to mock arty farty behavior of artists. In case of Björk it means: - it's not always better to make things (music, stages, costumes) as complicated as possible. - I don't like artists/musicians with a pop/rock /blues background whose most imported goal seems to be to be booked for the Royal Opera House instead of a club or a concert hall (though I like to go to the "Philharmonie" in Berlin to listen to symphony orchestras playing Shostakovich, Ligeti, Stravinsky ...).
