How to strip the rear door on a BL Mazda 3. Special attention is paid to the situation where you are replacing a rear window pane that has been smashed by vandals.
Just so you know, I had a laser skin treatment a couple of days before this video. That's why I have the spots on my hands and forehead. Don't worry. I'm fine!

Great video, thank you very much. Dealership wanted 1.5hrs at $155/hr to swap a doorlatch assembly. With your video I did the whole job in about 30min myself. Only hiccup is that the outer door handle doesn't open the door now, so I've obviously missed something. On the positive side. I'll soon be an expert at taking off these door panels 😂

Well done! There is a metal rod that needs to be inserted into the door latch assembly to activate the door lock when the handle is pulled. You'll work it out when you get inside and see it. Paul.

I have a 2011 Mazda 3 and having trouble disconnecting the harness. The car was in a wreck and I'm replacing the door. It's the front passenger door. Does the blue part disconnect with the wiring harness from the door?

The door harness finishes at the plug in the hinge area. It does disconnect. Paul.
