BLA - Trade Talk - Minn Kota - Heading Sensor Pairing & Calibration 

Do you have to pair and calibrate the heading sensor every time you deploy the motor?

Should the sensor be mounted on the bow of the boat close to the trolling motor? Mine is mounted midship on the starboard side and I feel like the boat is not held "on spot" as it seems to be trying to lock on the spot of the sensor and not the motor. That is about a 6-7 foot difference in the "spot". Make sense?

During the 'calibration-period'---does the trolling motor have to be actually in the running-mode (propeller engaged)??? Thanking you in advance...John Castelluccio, Jr. Southern Louisiana

My sensor does nothing when I push button. It also doesn't have a blue light when it on, I thought it use to show blue Is that correct?

How do I shut off the heading sensor. The heading sensor is warm and blinking blue.
