In a short sum of words, the story is about a world where the hidden emotions of girls come to life and fight (assuming there is conflict in the human world) as we follow a middle school girl and what would typically be the troubles she has in regards to her social life with her classmates and teachers (Like a slice of life anime would that includes drama). It was a bit exaggerated, I will agree, but the series was only 6 episodes long if I'm right, very short.

(Spoilers maybe?) I'm guessing it symbolizes how Saya "grows" students in school, and then chooses a select few to join the Other World's mess. And Black Rock destroys those "students" because she doesn't want them to join that mess(She's already trying to get rid of the existing Other World girls). But then it looks like she missed the selected student on purpose and tried to help them? Then seeing how the selected student was scared, killed them. Does anyone have an explanation for this or did I get it right lol

A very late response but anyway: Kohata (the basketball club girl)'s other self did not retaliate against Black Rock Shooter, Mato's other self, because Arata, due to her tomboyish personality, does not let feelings to get over her. Black Rock Shooter murders her anyway because Mato felt that Arata was feeling pain, and wanted to free her for her stress.
