Parliament; Earth wind and fire; Heatwave; Kool and the gang (before they went all uncool......Joanna etc) Rufus; The Ohio players; The Isley brothers.....The Ojays; Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes; War; David Ruffin.......Excellent period of funk and soul music. Even as far as the 'Two-tone' stuff before the Punk era began.
